About PSEB:
PSEB stands for Punjab School Education Board. It is the regulating body in Punjab that regulates education in the state. The education level till class 12 is under the authority and responsibility of PSEB. Punjab School Education Board was established in the year 1969, under an act which passed by Punjab legislative assemble. In 1987, an amendment in the act gave Punjab School Education Board its automaticity. Since then, it is an autonomous self financed body. PSEB can affiliate any private schools that fulfill the norms of the board. Government and public schools which are under state government are also affiliated to PSEB. All together there are approximately 2700 schools affiliated to the board.
