About Haryana Board Of Secondary Education:
HBSE stands for Haryana board of secondary education. It is basically the board of education of Haryana government that looks after the secondary education of the schools affiliated to it in the state of Haryana. The main objective of this organization is to bring educational reformation in the system and to impart quality and utmost level of education to all the students of the state. It came into existence in 1969. The first headquarter of HBSE was in Chandigarh. However, headquarter was then moved from Chandigarh to Bhiwani, where it is located till date. This transfer took place in 1981. The first matriculation examination that was undertaken by the board was in 1970. That time, the board had only 100 staff members who were allocated by the Punjab University. Later on, the board also started taking 10+2 examinations. The first 10+2 examination was conducted in the year 1986.
