NO problem friend, you even have a chance to give the IIT-JEE exam next year.
You say you have completed your 10th class in 2010 this means your 12th must be completed in 2012, ok. But you don't complete it this year.
NOW, listen carefully that A candidate can attempt JEE maximum two times in consecutive years irrespective of whether or not he/she passed QE. Those who have attempted JEE in 2010 or earlier areNOT ELIGIBLE to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
THUS, next next year you have the chance to clear the IIT-JEE exam.
AS for 2012 date of birth condition is that:Candidates belonging to GE and OBC categories must secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in QE. SC, ST and PD candidates must secure at least 55% marks in aggregate in QE.
- General (GE) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1987. Those born earlier are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and those with Physical Disability (PD) must have been born on or after October 1, 1982. SC/ST/PD candidates born before October 1, 1982 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
A candidate must has pass
- The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
- Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
- High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
- H.S.C. vocational examination.
sir,you are still eligible for appearing in IIT-JEE exam if you appear for class 12 next year, because the minimum educational qualification for appearing in IIT-JEE is that the candidate must have passed the class 12 boards with minimum of 60% in aggregate and 60% in PCM.
for example-if you pass or giving board exams in 2013,then you can give IIT-JEE in both 2013 and in 2014.
Hello,
You can only appear for IIT after completing your 12th with 60%(PCM). and stil you have one year / attempt left and your period of two continuous chances of giving the IIT exam will also not lost...
So first complete 12th and then without wasting any time give the IIT exam...
Note - Only two years gap can be given in between and two continuous attempts...
All the best
