Re: Whether I am eligible to write IBPS exam as well as Andhra Bank clerk exam? Utility of IBPS exam?

IBPS Conducts Common Written Exams (CWE) on behalf of 20 PSU Banks and this also include Andhra Bank
Andhra Bank will not hold any separate exams for the clerical positions now.
If you want to apply for the Andhra bank you have to sit in the IBPS written exams.

IBPS conducts written exams for both CLERKS and PO posts.

Min eligibilty to sit in both the Clerks and PO posts is Graduation Pass

Age for clerks should be between 20 and 28 years
Age to give PO exams is between 20 and 30 years

Both these written exams will be held only once a YEAR

    Hai

    Use of IBPS exam:-

According 2013 ,20 public sector banks are tied up with this IBPS.You need to write a common exam for all these 20 banks instead of writing separate banks exams for each bank.

If your graduate, then you can write both IBPS clerk as well as PO exam.

If you get qualifying marks in IBPS clerk or PO exam, your score card is valid for one year. With in one year you can apply for the 20 banks based on cut off marks given by the banks.

    About eligibility for Andra bank:-

You need not to write a separate exam for Andra Bank.Andra bank is one of the banks of 20 banks which are tied up with IBPS
