No. CA inter passed students cannot claim CS foundation exam because of there is no memorandum of understanding between ICAI and ICSI.I you want right CS foundation exam you have register before end of the march month.

No, you are not exempted from the Cs foundation exam if you already clear the inter of Ca because their is no collaboration between these two institutes. You have to appear in the Cs foundation if you are interested in Cs and the last date of submission of form for CS was 31/03/2012 but you can also apply by filing the late fees for registration.

From this august 16th new amendment CA institute is giving exemption for cpt who qualified cs-inter, then why dont they give exemption for foundation for those who qualified for IPCC?

- Charatered Accountant Inter passed student i.e IPCC/PCC student are not eligible to directly enter into executive stage of Company secretary.
- Since there is no agreement with the ICAI and ICSI, you can not be exempted.
- However if you have completed the graduation, then you have direct entrance to the Executive stage.
- You must have to appear in the CS foundation examination for that.
- For that, 12th passed are eligible to appear.
- The last date to get registered for december 2013 exam is 31th march 2012.
- The fees of this course is Rs.3600.
