Most of the engg students including IITians pursue MBA after their graduation and the scope would be broad and limitless. MBA in finance is most sough after because of the availability of the jobs in that sector.

I will suggest to every B.tech students to go for the M.tech and not go for the MBA just after the B.tech. Because after the B.tech you will be not perfect in your course. Because M.Tech give you complete information about your course.
Most of the B.tech students choose M.etch because after done the M.tech they will get high salary job in the IT sectors or Corporate sectors. Candidates after completing this course can also divert their career towards the teaching profession as the candidates are in great demand nowadays as faculty in engineering collages. Many colleges will done recruitment on the basis of the M.tech and also they pay high salary package as MNC pay.
The candidates after completing M.Tech can easily apply for PhD in their specialised subjects to increase their qualification. Then after done the P.HD your salary will be in lakhs.
So why you go for the MBA just after the B.Tech. I am not asking you not do the MBA but asking you to do MBA after the M.tech. Because No sector now is exempt from the influence of the MBA. MBA from a good school will certainly open many doors, but one from the wrong school may have the opposite effect. But even do the MBA from the good schools not sure of success Only successful utilization of newly acquired MBA skills and expertise can achieve this end. MBA makes ambitious manager a wider range of career opportunities and the chance of both increased responsibilities and a higher salary.
So do the MBA and M.tech both from the reputed institutes. Because if you do the M.tech from the reputed institutes then you will be have opportunity to join the placement when the institutes done placement procedure. But in the low colleges, most of the top reputed corporate sectors company not visit there.
Further you think about it and then take your own decision what your mind say?
Best of luck
