The CAT score is valid for one year only and you can apply for the test many times. There is no attempts limit. The website of CAT is www.catiim.in

Cat score is valid only for one year.It is valid till 31st december of a particular year.
For eg:CAT 2011 score is valid till 31 December 2012.
You can attempt for CAT every year....There is no limit for attempt.
But,detection of instances of incorrect information and process violation by a candidate at any stage will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
Candidate's score will become null and void and he/she will not be allowed to appear for CAT in future.

CAT is an common admission/aptitude test which is conducted by the Indian Institute of management in order to pursue the master of business administration (MBA) in various IIM institutes. The score card is valid for the time period of one year from the date of issue. Unlike other exams/test, CAT doesn't have any CAP on number of attempts. So you can appear for the CAT as many times as you want. But it will be better for you if you clear the CAT exam in first or second attempt. Work hard and study well.
