I want to join ISRO as it is my dream so i want to know does the syllabus for writen test conducted by ISRO for the post of "SCIENTISTS/ENGINEERS 'SC'" gets changed every year or not? There is not much of change in the syllabus for this written exam. Its mostly from the subjects that you have done in your B.E. degree. there are old question papers, uploaded in the isro website itself.

Sorry to Say this there is no prescribed syllabus for ISRO Scientist/Engineering examination.
So I can't provide the Syllabus of this examination but for your exam point of you i am attaching some previous year question papers of Scientist/Engineering exam papers of Mechanical and I think it is very helpful for you.
But most of the candidates who are appeared in the ISRO written exam and the candidates are prepare the Syllabus of GATE can be used in the Preparation.But I am not sure !!! It is only my knowledge.

Eligibility for the ISRO entrance exam:
Educational Qualification: you should be passed the engineering degree / M.SC with atleast 65% marks from any recognized university.
Age limit: age must be between the 21 to 30 years .
realaxation of age as per government rules.
Written test syllabus:
In the written test syllabus will be your m.sc subjects as a technical questions .
Paper pattern will be same as GATE entrance exam
The gross salary offered by ISRO for these Scientist/Engineers positions is in pay-scale of Rs. 15600-39100 + 5400 (Grade Pay). The gross monthly salary with this pay-scale is aproximately approximately Rs.30,450/- p.m.

Every year ISRO conducts the exam for the post of Scientist/Engineer (SC) in various ISRO centers .
The criteria for the SC post is below :
=> B.E./B.Tech with aggregate 65% from any recognized university .
=> A final year students are also eligible but they have to show provisional certificate at the time of interview .
=> Maximum age limit is 35 , age relaxation for ex-serviceman and PWD as per the government rules .
ISRO conducts SC exam under three categories name
Mechanical
Electronics
Computer Science
Exam structure of ISRO is below :
It consists two phases .
1) Written exam
2) Personal interview
Written exam consists technical objective type questions .
Syllabus for that exam is same as the syllabus for the GATE exam so one have to prepare according to GATE syllabus .
After passing the written exam , one will be called for an Interview .
So as you are in final year so that you can give the exam .
Schedule for the ISRO SC exam is below :
Last date for online application : 4th March 2013
Last date for paying fees : 5th March 2013
Date of Exam : 5th May 2013
