Re: What should I do to become a CID Officer?

Good to see that you want to be part of the CID. It is one of the most reputed and responsible post in India. As here you asked that what you should do for the get job a a CID so i like to tell you that the education and the other qualification required for the job of the CID so you can understand the whole matter.

It is mainly vary for the post to post. If you are trying to apply for the officer or the inspector post then you must have to complete the graduation on the required discipline to seat for the CID entrance exam.

But if you are interested on the constable post then you can apply after the 12th class.

Age limit for the constable post is min 18 years to 25 years.

Age limit for the Officer and the inspector post so age limit is 21 years to 30 years.

Salary also vary form the post to post as the officer scale is more than the constable post .

    Exam patterns:

First you have to seat for the written test and then you have to go through for the interview and if you get selected in the interview then you have to passed the physical and medical test.

Now it is your decision what you want to do. For the more information you can go for the UPSC site

    All the best
