    It purely depends on what you want to do after Btech.

    If you want to get into software industry after Btech, then you can pursue courses like .net, java, c etc. Besides you can also attend professional grooming sessions, as most of the software companies look at good

    communication skills. But if you are inrested in core sector, then you must start preparing for the core jobs, as most of the core jobs conduct separate exams like JTO,BHEL etc.

    Hai

    If you really interested in software jobs then it is better do courses on subjects :

    C
    C++
    Java
    .Net
    PHP
    DATA BASE

    *** Because in Aptitude and technical round basically questions will be asked from C,C++,Database
    So it is better to have knowledge in these subjects.

    I
    f you have minimum 60% throughout of the academics then your eligible for top MNCs like:

    TCS
    Wipro
    Infosys
    HCL
    IBM
    Tech Mahidra

    etc

    You have two options either you can go Core side or choose Software job.

    Prerequisites for core side

    ==>for that you can have strong confidence on low level programming language(machine language or assembly language ) and you have thorough knowledge on Microprocessors and Micro controllers.

    Prerequisites for IT jobs
    =========================

    ==>if you have strong knowledge on programming you can go to IT industry.
    for becoming a programmer or Software developer as a fresher you have thorough knowledge on C,C++,Java.

    Re: What should I do after B.Tech Software courses or Core courses?

    Dear,

    Although the software companies provide more number of jobs and really a very good
    career prospect, but I would suggest that you should look for jobs in your area of interest.

    If you have interest in core field of electronics, then you can dedicate
    6months-1 more year and start the preparation for core sector jobs.
    The job opportunities in Government sector or PSU companies are less but if you'll
    put in regular efoort of 7-8 hours per day, then I believe, you can easily get a
    job in near future.

    Regarding jobs in core sector, you have the chance to get jobs in PSU companies
    like SAIL, BHEl, BEL, NHPC, NTPC or you can also look for jobs in well established private
    core sector companies like Tata Steel, maruti Udyog, Samsung or Honey Well.

    If you think that you wont be able to crack these exams, then you should obviously
    look for jobs in S/W companies.

    For getting jobs in S/W companies, I would suggest that you should join a certification
    course in Java which would cost you around 10-15K in institutes like NIIt or you can also
    join some other low profile institutes but with good teaching staffs.

    At the sometime, you should submit your resume in job portals and should mention
    your area of job interest as S/W or IT field and mention in your resume that you are
    doing course of Java.

    Hello friend,
    I will suggest you to go for Software Course and do ORACLE for that.You are from ECE so you have opportunity to go to core company but the scope is very limit and there is huge competition is there.
    On the other side if you go for IT industry then there is a huge scope in that field.If you do the computer course Oracle then your demand in IT industry will surely increase as they preferred this language.
    For getting jobs of your academic qualification you can upload your CV in the following websites like
    www.timesjob.com
    www.naukri.com
    www.freshersworld.com
    RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE OF IT COMPANIES
    * Aptitude Test.
    * Group Discussion.
    * HR Interview.
    * Technical Interview.
    All the best.
