- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
both are different sections :
- the difference between the two is only that ACCA being a British
programme whereas CPA is an Australian programs.
- Allow me to first enlighten you that ACCA is not just another accounting course,
there is a significant difference between normal accounting degree courses .
ACCA :
- ACCA is a professional course, so is the CPA where once you are an ACCA graduate

another options are :
- Sign up for the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) programme after Form 5,
which is a foundation course to the ACCA, which automatically grants

Can any one suggest me can an average student can pass acca exams if he the willl to do that?
Hello Sir,

i have a site, where you find so many information about that.
All the best....
Why do Indians want to join ACCA? You won't see a British person clamouring to join the ICAI or equivalent. The clamouring reveals a certain kind of colonial mentality: 'It is British or western and must therefore be good'. If you don't value your culture and society why should anyone else.
What is good about western accounting anyway. Has no one heard of the banking crash or scandals where western accounting failed completely. Western accounting is the outocme of local politics and conflicts and is not suitable for India, as it has a different history and local problems. These will be compounded by accounting practices which only aim to provide information for capital markets and do not do anything for other stakeholders.
