Re: What to prepare for ISRO entrance?

ISRO means INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION.syllabus for entrance examination is same as that of IIT and AIEEE. make your basics and fundamentals clear.you are in class 11th so you have a lot of time to prepare for it.go through NCERT books it will help you.you may also take help of other books like RD SHARMA for maths.you don't need to study about space.its just a misconception in your mind.

Cool Re: What to prepare for ISRO entrance?

    HI DUDE,

ISRO - INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION

Generally , to apply for a post in ISRO , the minimum qualification is DIPLOMA

but , the important point to rememeber is , for the diploma canddiates , there are very less number of vacancies in ISRO

but , THE ISRO will recruit the candidates who have completed B.TECH or M.TECH in BULK

actually , for the following stream candidates there are maore vacancies and posts when compared to othere streams in ISRO

    ECE
    MECHNICAL
    CIVIL
    EEE
    CSE

the posts for b.tech canddiates are ,

    scientist
    Engnieer

actually , to apply for these posts , the sylabus will varies for the different stream canddiates

if the candidate is from EEE stream , then the questions are related to EEE subjects only
if the canddiate is from MECHNICAL STREAM , then the questions are related to MECHNICAL CORE subjects only

for example , if you have done engineering in ECE stream , then you should be well prepared in the following subjects to clear written exams and interview

    ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND CIRCUITS
    DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING
    OPTICAL FIBRE COMMUNCATION
    ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT ANALYSIS
    PULSE DIGITAL CIRCUITS
    PTSP , etc. . .

    The secltion process is ,

    written exam
    interview

    ALL THE BEST

Re: What to prepare for ISRO entrance?

ISRO exam has same syllabus as that of JEE so if you are preparing for JEE then you need not to prepare separately for ISRO

If you are only preparing for ISRO than you should see the syllabus on it's website www.iist.ac.in

    You can refer these books

    Physics--H.c verma

    Chemistry--- Arihant

    Mathematics---M.L. khanna

    Good Luck
