    What is the eligibility criteria to appear in AIIMS exam ? Is it necessary to appear in consecutive years ?

    i passed class 12 in 2009 and appeared for aiims exam in the same year.In 2010, i did not fill the form for aiims.Now again i want to apply for aiims in 2011. Am i still eligible or is it necessary to appear in consecutive years?

    HI,
    A.I.I.M.S entrance exam is a national level exam.

    Eligibility criteria:-
    > Pass 12th with Physics, chemistry and biology with minimum 60% marks.
    For ST/SC candidate minimum 55% marks is require..
    > Must be above 17 year and below 25 year.
    > Must be citizen of India.

    AIIMS is the best medical entrance examination in our country
    it is an all India level examination and only the best hard working students crack it
    so if you want to secure good rank, you must study hard



    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    Students aspiring for AIIMS and other ALL INDIA LEVEL MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

    minimum aggregate is 60% marks (General candidates)

    50% aggregate in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to apply

    Xerox copies of the mark sheets and degree certificates, the OBC caste certificate must be submitted with the application form

    all the xerox must be attested otherwise will be rejected

    OBC students gets concession for application fee charged for the form but the tuition fee waiver or subsidy is not allowed for OBC candidates


    no it is not necessary to sit for examination for two consecutive years


    you need to study hard and read your chapters thoroughly
    • special stress should be given to physics and BIOLOGY

    AIIMS is among the Top Medical entrance exams. The Eligibility is that you must be Passed with Minimum 60% in PCB or appearing 12th.

    The eligibility criteria for AIIMS is :

    The general candidates must have minimum 60% in 10+2th under physics,chemistry,biology,English.

    For Schedule caste must have minimum 55% in 10+2th

    candidates age must be between 17-21 years.

    It is not so much necessary for appear in consecutive years.

    in which subject should i supoose to do more hard work and which subject carries more numbers?
    what is the passing marks for this examination?
    i am a 11 class student ,so what chapters should i study by heart which will be helpfull in this examination?

    Eligibility for AIIMS :
    Nationality : must be an Indian
    Age : must complete 17 years before 31st december of the admitting year
    Academic qualification : Must have completed 10+2 with subjects botany, zoology, physics, chemistry and english.
    Minimum aggregate : must score minimum 60% in botany, zoology, physics, chemistry and english.
