Re: What to do after B.Com?

Since you are a b.com student then can proceed for M.Com or MBA.MBA is very good to do & it is also full of practical field. If you would like to join MBA then in MBA take human resource management as your subject because it has a very wide scope & companies are giving much priorities to those who have done MBA in human resource than any other.Or you can apply for jobs like BANKS,CDS,SSC,IN AIRFORCE AS GROUND DUTY OFFICER,IN NAVY FOR LOGISTIC CADRE,IN ARMY.

Re: What to do after B.Com?

    dear friend,

After completing go for the M.com because M.com is postgraduate program and providing depth knowledge of the accounts and commerce. M.com has high demand in the teaching or corporate sectors. Also there is some top institutes which hire the M.com students for the teaching and they pay high salary as the corporate sectors pay. After done the M.com then you can go for the MBA because MBA actually helps you that time when you will be specialism in any field. But after done the M.com you will be specialized in accounts and commerce fields.

You can do the following courses after the B.com
    • Master of Commerce
    • Master of Commerce in Accountancy and Business Statistics
    • Master of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing
    • Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance
    • Master of Commerce in Accounting and Taxation
    • Master of Commerce in Advanced Accountancy
    • Master of Commerce in Applied Economics
    • Master of Commerce in Bank Management
    • Master of Commerce in Banking & Insurance Management
    • Master of Commerce in Banking and Finance
    • Master of Commerce in Business Policy and Corporate Governance
    • Master of Commerce in Business Studies
    • Master of Commerce in Computer Applications
    • Master of Commerce in Computer Oriented Business Application
    • Master of Commerce in Co-operative Management
You can choose any of the above course for your postgraduate program. But don't go for MBA direct after completing the B.com. But try to do the above course from the reputed institutes.

    Best of luck

The best decision is to get a job, work 2-4 years, then look for the MBA. MBA programs prefer students with 2-3 years work experience after the first degree.............................. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.)...............BUT it is you Life then you can chosse a better Platform for it..............BEST OF LUCK

    Hello Dear,
If you are studying in a good reputed institute then you should first go for on-campus drive that is held in your institute itself and also in off-campus recruitment that is held in other institutes pursuing B.Com.If you are selected in any company then start working and you can gain knowledge, experience and money side by side you can also start preparing for MBA or CA exams. If there is no good campus facility in your institute then you can go for any good course and can prepare for walk-ins at different MNC's.If you prepare for MBA then always keep in mind that if you take admission in a good top ranked institute then only you can get the best benefit out of it.You will get good quality of education, scope to implement your knowledge in practical field and above all a highly paying job.If you have sufficient time then i would recommend you to join in any good reputed coaching institutes. If you are a good student and are quite confident that you can study and prepare for the exams on your own then it is not compulsory to join any coaching institute. You can get your doubts clear from any of your teacher or good friends.Sometimes a group of good friend circle also works out and group study can also be done for preparing for your exams. You must work hard.Prepare very seriously and manage all your time that is available to you.Make the best use of all the resources that are available to you.Have faith in GOD.If you try hard and study seriously with all your determination, dedication and devotion initially then finally your life will be settled and you can lead your life happily. So first plan and decide wisely, then start your preparations.
I wish you good luck for your bright future.
    Thank You.

    Hi Buddy,

After completion of your B.Com you'll be having two options open for you.

    1. JOB
    2. Higher Education

    1. Job :

    job.jpg

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSY4mQpbM8ThTepQv670yEHIcJ7dxDEXvyF61shxprDA-I_cZkL.gif
After the completion of your B.Com one of the option would be to search a job. You will be having many options open for u like public sector jobs and private jobs.

Public Sector jobs : Civil Services, CDS examination, Bank jobs, Lecturer job, etc....

Private Sector Jobs : Multinational Companies like Mahindra Satyam, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Capgemini, Dell, etc.....

    2. Higher Education :

You can also opt for higher education for post graduation course, here there are another two options to consider

    M.Com
    M.B.A

Since you have studied in B.Com then it would be Better for you to do M.Com because the same subjects are studied in depth with a specific course specialization. After Completion of M.Com you can have numerous opportunities available. As it would be keeping in the same stream where you had your graduation same will be your post graduation as well.

If you opt out for M.B.A there are various fields in M.B.A as Specializations the top most fields are

    Career-Opportunities-in-MBA.jpg

    Finance
    Marketing
    Operating
    Information Technology
    Human Resources

You would be required to exhibit great amount of communication skills and management skills to succeed in any of the specializations mentioned above. The opportunities of getting into a successful career are plenty, if you work hard and show great determination.

You can Choose any of the two options i.e either Job or higher studies but if u join job after graduation it would take you some time to settle down in your career but if you choose higher education then it will help you settle down quickly because of your dual degree and continuous flow of education without break will also help you being focused and achieving higher.

    All the best.

    Hello,
Its not good to change your stream, increase your profile by adding new certificates and diplomas and job experience.
Go for MBA after having job experience of at least 5-6 years and then can go for Executive MBA. As fresher you wont be able to get the benefit of MBA unless you do from top B schools..
You can go for courses like fashion designing or music or dance which will help you in fufilling your hobbies and then concentrate on your studies and career.

    Hello Friend,

If you are looking for a career in business, your options are: Chartered Accountancy (CA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Cost Accountancy (from ICWA), Company Secretary ship (CS), Stock Broking or MBA. CAs are Audit and Account experts. Besides maintaining accounts in a firm, their work includes Accountancy, Auditing, Cost accountancy, Taxation, Investigation and Consultancy.

A CS is a professional whose responsibilities in a corporate are that of an advisor for legal matters. Handling legal aspects that need to be covered for incorporation, formation, promotion, reorganisation or winding up of a company, are the responsibilities of a Company Secretary.

A CFA is trained in financial management, investment management and management accounting. Their financial expertise is vast and varied including all aspects of economics, quantitative techniques, economic legislation and security evaluation; as well as financial services, covering project planning, merchant banking services, portfolio management, venture capital, leasing, hire purchase, credit rating and other allied areas. Today almost all strategic industries like, engineering, chemical, pharmaceutical, steel and oil and service sectors including telecommunication and agriculture sector have been brought in the statutory Cost Accounting. Stock Brokers work in stock exchanges which are like market places where stockbrokers buy and sell securities for individuals or institutions.

An MBA will open up options in all industries in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT & Systems and Operations. CS, CA, ICWA and CFA are certifications you can get by clearing exams after Class XII run by ICSI (www.icsi.edu), ICAI (www.icai.org), ICWAI (www.icwai.org) and ICFAI (www.icfai.org) respectively.
