Difference between MBBS and BAMS entrance examination : The course MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medical and BMS stands for Bachelor in Ayurveda. The study in this Ayurveda course has its own importance.

The present era is known as the importance of Ayurveda.MBBS and BAMS both are five years undergraduate courses mainly recognized from government. If you want to take admission in any Ayurveda institute then one famous institute that is National Institute of Ayurveda provides different level degree courses in Ayurveda.

    dear friend,

MBBS is stand for bachelor in medicine & bachelor in science whereas BAMS stands for bachelor in ayureveda.
from both of them if you choose BAMS, so it will be better fro you.BAMS have many amny futher course to do in ayureveda whereas MBBS means where to you give your rest life to complete it.in BAMS you will get many challenged patient to handle..n its totally depend on you that how you will work for it, MBBS and BAMS both are equivalent to each other, if you choose BAMS for youe career so you will be better employed than MBBS, if you go to the foreign with your MBBS so its hard for you to find medical jobs there n indian MBBS are not acceptable in USA, CANADA,AUSTRALIA or any developed country without the necessary licensing test whereas BAMS are required to all over world n now a days their demand developed more, Rather than MBBS, BAMS is the better medical course and woat for its result.

    all the best
    thank you.

dear friend here is the answer of your queary:

M.B.B.S...It depends on You where you want to see your self 10 years from now. Purely my advise. BAMS. lots of new things. many challenging patients to handle. and just one word "MAGICAL RESULTS"...It completely depends upon you what you further wants to practice. In front court of law both the degrees are equivalent to each other. MBBS been recognized by the other states out of India many times makes.

BAMS is the degree in Ayurveda while MBBS is the degree in allopathy. Both the degrees are equivalent to each other but if we see them on the basis of scope then MBBS is better one.

Bams is very comfortable coyrse.one can easily opt after +2 in pcm.

But mbbs ia a strong, robust, challenging course.it involves surgery, anatomy and many syllabuses to be covered. Its more practical as well as theory,
    it is very dry subject
so a mbbs grad is far better in his treatment and stuff.
Mbbs gives scope for research.pg in medicine.not bams.its very confined

best is mbbs.when comes to human service, both r same

    Hello...

Dear Friend... Both Degree Belongs to the Medical Field.. There are two Branches of Mediacal

Field.. The 1st is ALLOPATHIC and the other one is AYURVADIC.. AYURVADIC Belongs to the Natural Herbs...

And ALLOPATHIC Belongs to the Science.. So.. MBBS is a degree of Allopathic and BAMS is a degree of

Ayurvadic.. Both Degree are equivalent but belongs to the differenty field of Medical.. As in the Present

Times everyone is preferred for Allopathic.. So I would like to suggest you to go for MBBS.

MBBS is bachelor in medicine i.e. considers allopathy where as BMAS is bachelor in Ayurveda
as now days people are most interested in ayurvedic treatment and medicines so its better to opt for BAMS also it is not bachelor purely in ayurveda but you are also teached about allopathy.

Re: What is the difference between MBBS and BAMS? Which is the best one?

MBBS-Master in Medicine which is related to allopathic
    BAMS-Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medical sciences.

Eligibility Criteria for Both the Courses:

*A Candidate should be Passed in +2 with physics, chemistry, maths, and biology taken together
*Minimum of 50% marks for General Categories and 40% secured for OBC,SC and ST Caste
*The age must be Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December, 2012

If you Choose MBBS means It depends on You where you want to see your self 10 years from now.You should properly planned on that course and fully dedicated person for the future 10 years. For becoming a Doctor is not a easy one you should understand all the concepts. The last 5 years you will learn a subject practically

My option is to choose BAMS.Because you will learn more number of things from the MBBS not in subject wise in pratically. To describe the BAMS in one word means i called it as a "Magical results".

Indian MBBS are not acceptable in the usa, canada, aus, or any developed nation without the required licensing tests, but the BAMS are accepted in all the developing nation

BAMS is perhaps the best medical course you can do and wait until you finish the degree

Important dates for BHU MBBS / BDS / BAMS / B.Pharm Entrance Exams 2012 are as below:
    No. Courses Dates
    1.a MBBS PMT-2012 SCREENING 16th May 2012
    1.b MBBS PMT-2012 MAIN 17th June 2012
    2 BDS (38 seats) / BAMS* (50 seats) / B.Pharm. (33 seats) courses Based on merit in 1.a
    * Number of seats in BAMS course may increase subject to approval by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.

from both of them if you choose BAMS, so it will be better fro you.BAMS have many amny futher course to do in ayureveda whereas MBBS means where to you give your rest life to complete it.in BAMS you will get many challenged patient to handle..n its totally depend on you that how you will work for it, MBBS and BAMS both are equivalent to each other, if you choose BAMS for youe career so you will be better employed than MBBS, if you go to the foreign with your MBBS so its hard for you to find medical jobs there n indian MBBS are not acceptable in USA, CANADA,AUSTRALIA or any developed country without the necessary licensing test whereas BAMS are required to all over world n now a days their demand developed more, Rather than MBBS, BAMS is the better medical course and woat for its result.

    all the best
    thank you.

But mbbs ia a strong, robust, challenging course.it involves surgery, anatomy and many syllabuses to be covered. Its more practical as well as theory,
    it is very dry subject
so a mbbs grad is far better in his treatment and stuff.
Mbbs gives scope for research.pg in medicine.not bams.its very confined

best is mbbs.when comes to human service, both r same
BAMS is bachelor of ayurveda medicine and surgery..
After BAMS u CAN do M.D. and M.S.
Ya ayurveda also involve surgery in e.n.t, obs, fistula, etc.

MBBS is an allopathy based graduation..

depends upon which state you live..
Many states hv parallel jobs for mbbs n bams graduates..
In M.P. n C.G. bams is suffering but in Maharashtra, keral, H.P., Guj, raj, govt.psc are conducted each year.

So if u wanna be a doctor den its good..

    Dear Friend,
Both the courses MBBS and BAMS are having its own significance.

The MBBS is Bachelor of Medical and Bachelor of Surgery.

The BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurveda.

In the present days the demand for the Ayurvedic treatment is increasing.

The scope is also very large as compared to the MBBS.

You may pursue several different type of courses under the BAMS course.

You will have the opportunity to face many challenging patient and have a diverse experience.

Even you can also practice abroad after the BAMS course. There is increasing demand for the Ayurvedic treatment.

The diffenernce is the course of treatment that you will provide to your patients after completing the course.

Both the courses are of 5years and for applying you should have Physics, Biology and Chemistry in your 12th level.

You need to take entrance exam for both the course to pursue.
