Criminology and forensic science is mainly interested in science graduates. the recruitment id done by the SSC or the ministry of home affairs dept in india. its better u take up pg courses in criminology and u may enter as assistant in CID, BOPC, etc...

to enter CBI u have to hold a degree
    and shud have secured 55%,
search emplyment news weekly paper for job notifications and apply for itsame applies to IB. in case of NIA, RAW it needs experience as they are fully specialised.

A degree will help you in any field, and a degree in criminal justice is best if supported with studies in psychology, linguistics, and political science.

A degree in any course will help you in any field you want but the career you were willing to go is the degree in criminal justice if supported with studies in psychology, linguistics, and political science

Even if you are a graduate in arts you can give variouss competitive exams like SSC (Combined Graduate Level Examination). if you pass in the examinastion you may get the job you want.

if you are interested in specialization, you can apply for the erasmus mundus masters programme in forensic science. the course duration is 2 yrs. There are four semesters and each semester you ll be studying in one of the partner colleges of the erasmus mundus programme i.e. university of lincoln(uk), university of cordoba(spain) and the instituto superior de ciencias da saude egas moniz (portugal). in the final sem, you ll do your project in one of the three institutions. you can apply for scholarship if you hold an excellent merit and a good SOP report. All your expenses will be taken care of by this scholarship. you ll get great international experience too!
