    What can I do to become an IAS Officer being 12th class student?

    Hello, i m in 12th class.. I got 90% in class 10th.. I chose maths for my higher studies.... I want to become an ias officer.. Please guide what can i do for it....

    ITS good that your ambition is to become an IAS officers.
    Min eligibilty criteria to sit in the UPSC Civil services exam (for IAS, IPS,IFS) -graduation in any discipline
    min age -21 years and max age-30 years
    Max attempts-4 times for general candidates.

    Since you are currently 12th class, give your class 12th exam and after that complete your grduation, either do engineering or do bachelors in science as you wish.
    only after graduation you will be able to sit in the IAS exam

    hello friend,

    ias( indian administrative service)after 12th class there is no chance for applying for ias. you have to complete your graduation with any on of the discipline with 60% aggregrate.
    disciplines that you have to do in graduation:
    maths, physics, zoology,botony,chemistry,geology,veterenaryscience ,animal husbandary, statistics, or a bachelor degree in engineering, agriculture, forestry.

    ias exam will be conducted by upsc.

    age criteria:

    21-30 years of age for general students they can make four attempts .
    3 years age relaxation for obc candidates they can make seven attempts
    5years age relaxation for sc/st candidates they can make no.of attempts

    for securing in ias you should have strong command on your subjects.

    IAS(indian administrative services) exam held every year twice , many candidates apply for this exam to go for indias most respected posts like IPS,IFS etc ..

    eligibility criteria for this exam :-

    -the candidate must have graduation degree in any field like B.TECH, B.SC,B.COM,B.A etc as their is no % of marks is required but atleast you have to secure 55% of marks .
    -regarding the age limit , the candidate age must lie in between 21yrs-30yrs.
    -the OBC candidates have priveledge regarding their age limit as they have 3 yrs age relaxation and sc/st candidates have 5 yrs age relaxation .

    You can appear in IAS exam , after your graduation:
    You can pursue your graduation in any field.
    To be an IAS, the following makes you eligible:
    1. Age should be 21-30 years
    (relaxable for SC/Physicall yhandicapped and categories)

    first complete the 12 standard in the maths ,physics ,chemistry (m .p.c) stream and write the engineering entrance exam ,say suppose aieee exam ,if you get the good percentage in the aieee you can get admission in the top most universitie's like nit's and the iit's
    after getting the admission in the college's you first complete your graduation degree
    after completeing the degree ,it is good time to prepare for the ias exam
    now you can freshely prepare for the ias exam

    soryy to say you are not eligible for the IAS exam

    the minimum Qualifications are

    -> you must be a citizen of india

    -> you must have a graduation degree from any recognised university

    -> age limit is

    21-30 years for OC students

    21-33 years for OBc students

    21-35 years for SC/ST students

    so complete your degree then you can join IAS

    10th is so good excellent marks.your marks atlest 60% in graduation
    degree .You must be indian .Age limit 21 to 30 years and you attempts
    this exam 4 times in whole life .IAS exam conducted UPSC exam.You take
    in 11th standard maths with on interest many option open like
    engineering field.And IAS exam not is toughest exam in indai so you

    Hi guest, I would appreciate your thought to become IAS OFFICEr. But still it's too early to think about it. Since you are in twelth standard you are not eligible for the indian administrative exam (IAS) which is conducted by union public service commission. So you need to complete the graduation first and then prepare for the IAS exam. There is no boundation in any stream and in respect to any subject. Thanx

    For become eligible for IAS you must pass your bachelor degree with at least 50% in the following program
    Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry,Statistics,Geography ,Botany,Zoology.
    It is better for you to do B.Sc in Mathematics for being an IAS.
    Age limit for appearing in IAS exam is 21-30 year and must be a citizen of India.

    * Preliminary Exam.

    To give IAS Exam, the minimum eligibility required is graduation from recognized university.

    As you are in 12th now, you cannot apply for the exam now, but you can start your preparations now, like choose the subjects, in which you are interested in your graduation.

    So that, you can prepare for the IAS Exams too, in this way.

    IAS means Indian Administrative Services.

    This is a Civil service and written exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility conditions are as follows:

    Any degree from recognized university with minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years.

    Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows:

    3 years for OBC.

    After your 12th you must do any degree in any stream to become a IAS officer.
    Because to become a IAS officer you should write Civil service exam conducted by UPSC.
    To write this exam you must posses a degree in any stream with the age limit of 21-30 years for General Category
    If you belong to reserved category then age relaxation is provided for you
    3 years for OBC
    5 years for Sc/St
    10 years for PH
    5 years more for Ex-service man
    You must be the citizen of India

    you want to become IAS officer then you should pass your Graduation with any subject there are no subject specific for apply this you should go with you interest after your Graduation you can appear but your marks should be minimum 50% in your Graduation then you can apply. you age should be between 21 to 30 years.it held is full day exam.
    selection will three part first Prelim Exam after passing you can go for Main Exam after qualifying you can go for Personal Interview after that you can join for IAS officer it will held two language Hindi and English.

    I am sorry to say that you can not join IAS exam after 12th standard.

    To join IAS exam ,you must be passed a graduation degree from a Indian recognized university in any stream.

    There is no percentage Requirement.

    Appearing in final year candidates are Also Eligible.

    Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation for Reserved category candidates.

    IAS exam Selection process;-

    Civil services prelims exam which consist two papers of General studies.

    Civil services mains exam which consist qualify language papers, General studies, English and optional subjects papers.

    After clearing these two exam,you will be called for Interview.

    To become an ias officer you have to complete first your graduation in any stream from any recognized university with good percentage, Then you are eligible to appear in civil services exam.

    Eligibility For the Exam:
    1) Candidate must completed his/her graduation in any stream with minimum 60% marks.
    2) Candidate must be the citizen of India or a subject of Bhutan Or Nepal or a Tibetan refugee who come over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

    Age limit:
    A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
    5 years relaxation in upper age for Sc/St category candidates and 3 years relaxation in upper age for OBC category candidates.

    No of Attempts:
    1) General category candidates can attempt the exam 4 times.
    2) OBC category candidates can attempt the exam 7 times.
    3) There is no limit to attempt the exam for Sc/St candidates.

    Dear Aspirant,



    As you have mention that you are in your 12th std. and want to become an IAS Officer then first of all you have to join any Bachelor course of your desire but, it should be at least of 3 years, then just you have to do is you have to passed out it and then you become eligible for it.....

    No matter of Percentages all is just have to passed out. so, first of all go For the Graduation course in your desired field...

    Let me give you some brief info. about further.....

    Once after completing your Graduation you have to apply for the Civil Service exam....
