    please telll me that what is the upper age limit for neet exam?????
    and is there any restrictions on no.of attempts?????

    National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is an All India Level Common Entrance Examination for Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Medicine aspirants.

    Educational criteria:

    The aspirant must have passed 12th class examination, with a minimum of 50% (General category) and 40% (Reserved category) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board before admission.

    Age Criteria:Minimum: 17 years

    Maximum: 25 years.

    There is upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as 5 years for SC/ST/OBC.

    Exam pattern:Total number of questions: 180

    Physics: 45

    Chemistry:45

    Botany: 45

    Zoology: 45

    Total time: 3 hours

    There is 1/4th negative marking.

    Number of attempts: Maximum of 3 attempts.

    • NEET refers to National Eligibility Entrance Test, it is an entrance test for the medical students.
    • To be eligible for this exam, you must have 50% in class 12th with PcB as an compulsory subjects.
    • For sc/st category students, only 40% is needed in class 12th.
    • The age limit stated is 17 years to 25 years.
    • However age relaxations is given as per the central government rules.
    • Regarding the number of attempts, you have only three chances to appear in this exam, aftewards you won't be eligible.

    If you have completed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% from Recognized Board exam then you are eligible for it.....

    Age of candidate should be between 17 to 25 years......

    Relaxation is available for Reserved category as per Government Rule......

    Number of attempts: Maximum of 3 attempts.....

    Hi,


    As per CBSE, The upper age limit

    For candidates under 15% all India quota in Government medical colleges is 25 years.( as on 31st December of the year of exam)

    For candidates under SC /ST / OBC category is 30 years.

    For candidates in State quota , there is no upper age limit.

    Eligibility criteria for NEET exam

    Candidate should be 12th pass with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board. ( it is 40% for OBC, SC and ST)

    Final year candidates can also apply.

    There is no limitations on the number of attempts.

    NEET is a single stage exam and consists of 180 multiple choice questions.

    Paper consists of questions from -

    Physics
    Chemistry
    Zoology
    Botany

    4 marks are awarded for correct answer while 1 marks is deducted for wrong answer.

    NEET for 2013 has been conducted on 5th of May 2013.

    NEET is an all India entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) for studying MBBS in colleges.

    Here are the full eligibility criteria for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET)

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    * Candidate must study Physics,Chemistry,Biology,English in Class 12th exam.

    * Age of the candidate must be in between 17 to 25 years old on or before 31st December of the year of examination. For SC/ST/OBC candidate 5 year age relaxation is there.

    * There is no maximum number of attempts unless age limit is crossed.



    Date of Exam= 5th May 2013
    Duration of Exam= 3 hour(10 AM - 1 PM)

    Candidate have to score 50 percentile in the exam in order to qualify for NEET.

    The minimum eligibility criteria for NEET exam is 12th vlass pass with PCB with minimum 50% marks.

    The candidates belonging to SC or ST class need to have 40% marks.

    The age limit for this exam is 17 to 25 years.

    The chances to give exam is maximum 3 times.

    Upper age relaxation:

    SC/ST: 5 years.

    OBC: 5 years.

    UPPER AGE LIMIT: 17-25 years(General) For S/C S/T: 30 years.

    Attempts: Only 3 applicable for all.

    The eligibility criteria for the same are
    -The candidate should have passed 12th.
    -The candidate should secure a minimum of 50% in aggregate of PCB from a recognized board.
    -Minimum age should be 17 years and maximum should be 25 years.
    -There is age relaxation of 5 years and aggregate relaxation of 10% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.


    And there is also no limit over number of attempts.

    Eligibility:

    @must be completed 12th with physics,chemistry and biology subjects
    @age-17-25 years.
    @there is relaxation of age for reserved candidates.
    @one can make 3 attempts for neet.
    @general candidates must pass 12th with50% aggregate.
    @other candidates 40%in 12th

    some states possess reserved quota for neet examqualifiers

    2)the maximum age upto which you can write neet is 25 years

    a. XII Academic Eligibility (Minimum percentage):
    i. 50% for General category student & 40% for SC/ST/OBC category student in Physics, Chemistry andBiology taken together (i.e. aggregate).
    ii. Students must pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects individually.


    b. Entrance Qualifying Criteria: Qualifying criterion has been changed from 50% of absolute marks in NEET to 50 percentile in NEET to ensure that no seat remains unfilled.

    c. Age Eligibility (Minimum percentage):

    i. Minimum 17 years at the time of admission
    ii. Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC

    d. Number of Attempts: A maximum of three attempts

    NEET stands for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test which is conducted by CBSE .

    The General category Candidate must have 50 % marks in the class 12th with physics, chemistry and biology subject taken together.For Sc/ST candidate required 40% marks and for PH candidate require 45% marks .

    The students of all categories are required to pass Physics, Chemistry and Biology, English subjects individually.But there is no marks criteria in individual subject .

    The minimum age of the candidates should be 17years.

    There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in the NEET exam.
