    According to me you first check weather you are eligible to apply Bank PO Exam. So go through the following eligible and decide you are eligible or not.

    Eligibility for Bank PO Exam

    - You should be graduate from a recognized university with at least 60% and 55% in case of SC/ST/OBC.

    - Your age must be minimum 21 years and not more than 30 years. Age relaxation in case of OBC 3 years and for SC/ST up to 5 years.

    - You must have the basic knowledge on computers.

    If you are eligible then go for preparation else you can go for preparation Bank Clerk exam if you are not eligible.

    First starting preparation you have to study your syllabus and exam pattern as from these things you can decide your direction of study.

    Bank PO’s exam consist of following topics in Syllabus

    For bank PO, you need to practice:
    Reasoning questions, including verbal , non verbal and logical aptitude also.
    Elementary maths: like profit/loss, train/platform/distance, speed and time, work/time , aquare root, cubes and squares related questions.
    English: basic english questions comprising of antonyms, synonyms, jumbled , re-arangement of sentecnes or words.
    Read the newspaper daily for current affaiirs.
    summing up, if your devote 4 -5 hours daily . you can clear the exam!

    Minimum of 2.5 hrs you have to give for the preparation and solve as many papers as you can and learn the tricks of solving the numerical problems fast with accuracy.. As speed with accuracy is the key to crack the IBPS with top rank as only clearing it wont give you the chances of selection, you have to score minimum of 165+ to get a call for interview..
