    sir, i , an engineering final year student . i want to write RRB exam..plz guide me the syllabus and eligibility for this exam and also plz convey me the exam date........

    Dear friend,

    RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Board. This exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the various posts in Railway sector.

    Eligibility Criteria-

    1- Educational Qualification-> The minimum qualification to apply for RRB is that you must have completed your Graduation in any stream. Final year students who are waiting for their results can also apply for RRB exam.

    2- Age Limits->

    For assistant post your age should be between 18-28 years.

    For scale I officer post your age should be between
    18-28 years.

    For scale II officer your age should be between
    21-32 years.

    For scale III officer your age should be between
    20-30 years.

    For OBC candidates there is age relaxation of
    3 years and for SC/ST candidates there is age relaxation of 5 years.

    Syllabus of Exam-

    1. General Awareness- Current Affairs, Major Financial/Economic News, Budget and Five Year Plans, Sports, Books and Authors, Science - Inventions and Discoveries, Awards and Honours, Important Days, Abbreviations.

    2. Analytical and quantitative skills-

    A. Verbal:- Number Series, Alphabet Series, Test of Direction Sense, Coding-Decoding, Number Ranking, Arithmetical Reasoning, Analogy, Decision Making.
    B. Non Verbal:- Mirror Images, Cubes and Dice, Grouping Identical Figures, Embedded Figures.

    3. General Arithmetic:- Number System, HCF, LCM, Simplification, Decimal Fractions, Ratio and Proportions, Unitary Method, Percentage, Time and Distance, Profit and Loss, Average, Algebra, Data Interpretation, Mensuration.

    4. Language-general hindi/ general english

    rrb-railway recruitment board exam i hope you need this rrb information only.

    syllabus :

    @general awareness
    @arithmetic ability: verbal and nonverbal
    @general intelligence.

    general awareness includes: current affairs, economic affairs, budgets,sports, booka and authors, awards, honours

    arithmetic includes: data sufficiency, data analysis, coding , decoding, blood relation, aptitude

    for various rrb posts eligibility depends on the vacancy 10+2 and graduation is the minimum eligibility for rrb.

    To appy for this post you need to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.

    Age limit for various posts:-

    For assistant post your age should be between 18-28 years.

    RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Control Board India. It provides jobs like railway guards, junior clerk assistant, senior clerk cum typist, traffic apprentice, station master, traffic assistant, ERC's and other technical and non technical posts.

    Eligibility for RRB :
    Age : Age limit is between 18-33 years.
    Educational Qualifications : There are different posts in railway so please the recruitment notification or visit rrb website.
    Application fee is 600 rupees for general category.

    About RRB stand for Railway Recruitment Board :

    Engineering graduate passed from recognised institution is eligible for JE in Railway.
    they are also eligible for other post likes ASM, TA, CA etc.
    Generally, Question for JE post comes from following field.
    General Knowledge,
    English,
    Reasoning,
    Technical.

    • There are different educational criteria for each post so you have to see full advertisement
    • candidate must be a citizen of India
    • age will be between 18 to 33 years

    RRB Stands for Railway Recruitment Board.Union Public Service commission conducts RRB exam.The syllabus for RRB is brifly exaplaning you below

    i) General English: Questions on General English are designed to test the candidate's correct usage of prepositions, words and phrases.

    (ii) Mathematics: Questions on Mathematics are designed to test accuracy in rapidity in working. These will mostly be questions in Arithmetic.

    (iii) General Knowledge: Candidates are expected to possess a broad knowledge of current events and matters of general interest, particularly relating to India, including Indian Railways.

    (iv) General Intelligence: The questions are designed to test the candidate's power of reasoning and his ability to draw conclusions.

    Age Limit--Candidates Who will give railway exam they age must be 18 years. Relaxation of 5
    years for SC/ST candidte and 3 year OBC candidate in upper age.
