National defence academy (NDA) examination is conducted by Union public service commission (UPSC) twice a year.
Through this examination the candidates are recruited to posts like Army , Navy and Air force wings .
ELIGIBILITY:
* The candidate must be a citizen of India.
* The candidate must be male and unmarried.
* The candidate should have the minimum of 16 1/2 years and the maximum of 19 years .
* The candidate should be physical fit according to physical standards of NDA.
* The minimum height is 157.5 cms and for Air force the minimum height is 162.5 cms.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* For Army : The candidate should pass his class XII or 10+2 pattern from a recognized state education board or its equivalent .
* For Air force and Naval : The candidate should pass his Class XII or 10+2 pattern or its equivalent with physics and mathematics from a recognized state education board or its equivalent.
EXAM PATTERN:
* The examination is of Objective type questions.
* There are two papers and the exam paper is in Hindi/English medium.
* PAPER I: Mathematics with 300 marks and the Duration is 2.5 hours
* PAPER II : general ability with 600 marks and the duration is 2.5 hours.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-
NDA have three wings :
1.Indian Air Force
2.Indian Army
3.Indian Navy
Age Limit between for 16.5 to 19 yrs.
No Age Relaxation facility will given for this entrance test.
You can appear Not more then 3 times for NDA Exam.
Education qualification
Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.
Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Naval Academy should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.
Also students studying in second year of 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible for applying NDA & NA exam.
Only boys can apply for the exam.
Candidates who want to become officers through NDA & NA examination should not be married.
Nationality
The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Physical Standard
>The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.
>There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight.
> The candidate should not be overweight or obese.
> The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)
NDA stands for National Defence Academy
NDA is an entrance exam which is conduct by Union Public Service Commision twice every year for Indian Defence services.
This exam conduct as NDA (I) and NDA (II).
This exam mainly for three wings of Defence = Indian Military, Indian Airforce and Indian Navy.
Eligiblity Criteria for both NDA (I) and NDA (II) exam =
> Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
> Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for the exam.
> Candidate's minimum age should fall between 16.5 years to 19 years.
> Candidate should complete their 12th standerd from a recognized board
with Physics,Chemistry and Maths.
> Candidate should be Medically and Physicaly fit for NDA exam.
