    Hello friend,

    National defence academy (NDA) examination is conducted by Union public service commission (UPSC) twice a year.

    Through this examination the candidates are recruited to posts like Army , Navy and Air force wings .

    ELIGIBILITY:

    * The candidate must be a citizen of India.

    * The candidate must be male and unmarried.

    * The candidate should have the minimum of 16 1/2 years and the maximum of 19 years .

    * The candidate should be physical fit according to physical standards of NDA.

    * The minimum height is 157.5 cms and for Air force the minimum height is 162.5 cms.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    * For Army : The candidate should pass his class XII or 10+2 pattern from a recognized state education board or its equivalent .

    * For Air force and Naval : The candidate should pass his Class XII or 10+2 pattern or its equivalent with physics and mathematics from a recognized state education board or its equivalent.

    EXAM PATTERN:

    * The examination is of Objective type questions.

    * There are two papers and the exam paper is in Hindi/English medium.

    * PAPER I: Mathematics with 300 marks and the Duration is 2.5 hours

    * PAPER II : general ability with 600 marks and the duration is 2.5 hours.

    * The General ability comprises of following parts

    1.PART A - English (200 marks)

    2.PART B - General Knowledge (400 marks)

    * Again this General knowledge has divided into 6 sections namely

    1. Physics - 100 marks

    2. Chemistry - 60 marks

    3. General science - 40 marks

    4. History , Freedom movement etc.., - 80 marks

    5. Geography - 80 marks

    6. Current events - 40 marks.

    NDA is Acronym of National Defense Academy.
    NDA Exam is Conduct by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).
    UPSC Conducts NDA Examination Two Times in a Year.


    There are Total Three Departments in NDA =>

    Army Academy
    Naval Academy
    Air Force Academy


    Qualification Criteria for NDA ===>>
    For Army Academy :- You should Complete 12th Class in Any Stream From Recognized University .
    For Naval and Airforce Academy :- You should Complete 12th Class in Science with Physics and Mathematics.

    Your Age Must B/w 16.5 Years to 19 Years.

    Only Unmarried Male Candidates Allowed For NDA Examination.

    N.D.A --- NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY

    This exam is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION


    And the minimum qualification is "" INTERMEDIATE "" from a recognized university


    The minimum age is " 16.5 " years

    Maximum age is allowed up to " 19 " years


    THERE IS NO AGE RELAXATION FOR THE RESERVED CANDIDATES


    ONLY UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE EXAM

    NDA is National Defence Academy
    This is held by UPSC.

    The eligibility criteria are as follows
    -Candidate must pass 12th in any stream for army and for air force and naval you need to pass 12th in science stream with PCM as compulsory subjects
    -Age should be between 16.5-19 years.
    -Candidate must be male
    -Candidate must not be married
    -Candidate must be physically and mentally fit


    The syllabus is basically
    General Knowledge
    Mathematics
    Physics
    Chemistry
    Logical Reasoning.

    NDA stands for National Defense Academy, This exam is conducted by Union Public Service twice tie in year as NDA-I and NDA-II.......


    NDA is conducted in three wings that is : 1). Indian Army, 2). Indian Navy and 3). Indian Air Force.....


    If you have completed 12th std ni science stream with PCM subjects from recognized board then you are eligible for NDA in all wings exam......

    OR


    If you have completed 12th std in commerce , arts and medical stream from recognized board then you are eligible for only Indian Army wings....

    Final years of 12th std students also eligible for this exam....

    There is No any Percentages Requirement for being applicable all just candidate have to passed out their 12th enough....

    Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years. No any Age Relaxation for Reserved category....

    Only Unmarried Male can Apply for this exam. No girls are not eligible for this exam......

    A Candidate must be physically and mentally fit...

    A candidate must be an indian...

    NDA Stands for National Defence Academy

    This Examination is conducted by UPSC held twice a year,

    Generally in the month of April and September

    The course of training is for three years.

    NDA have three wings :

    1.Indian Air Force

    2.Indian Army

    3.Indian Navy



    Eligibility

    Age Limit between for 16.5 to 19 yrs.


    No Age Relaxation facility will given for this entrance test.

    You can appear Not more then 3 times for NDA Exam.

    Education qualification


    Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.

    Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Naval Academy should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    Also students studying in second year of 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible for applying NDA & NA exam.

    Only boys can apply for the exam.

    Candidates who want to become officers through NDA & NA examination should not be married.


    Nationality


    The candidate must be an Indian citizen.


    Physical Standard

    >The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

    >There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight.

    The eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam is as follows :

    - Nationality : The Candidate should be Indian.

    - Age limit : The candidate's age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

    - Gender : The candidate should male. Female candidates cannot appear for NDA exams.

    - Qualification : The candidate should be passed or appearing the 10+2 criteria.

    - Marrital Status : The candidate must be unmarried.

    - Fitness : The candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

    Exam Pattern and Time :

    - Paper I : Mathematics with 300 marks and the Duration is 2 and 1/2 hours

    Indian Military Academy - Should have passed class 12th in any stream from a recognized board

    Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy - Should be passed Higher Secondary examination with physics and mathematics as a mandatory subjects from a reputed institute or board

    Age should not be less than 16 years (Average) and more than 18.5 Years (Average) and no relaxation in upper age provided to any category candidates and only unmarried male candidates are allowed

    Examination Pattern for UPSC NDA Examination 2013-14

    Elementary Mathematics - 300 Marks

    General Ability Test - 600 Marks

    Minimum Qualification :-

    1.Required education qualification , you have to pass 12th examination from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification .

    2.Required qualification for Navy / Air force , you have to pass 12th examination with Mathematics , Chemistry and Physics as Subjects from a recognized Institution .

    3.Required qualification for Army , you have to pass 12th examination with any discipline from a recognized Institution .

    Age criteria :-

    Integral Calculus and Differential equations:
    Integration as inverse of differentiation, integration by substitution and by parts, standard integrals involving algebraic expressions, trigonometric, exponential and hyperbolic functions. Evaluation of definite integrals – determination of areas of plane regions bounded by curves – applications. Definition of order and degree of a differential equation, formation of a differential equation by examples. General and particular solution of a differential equation, solution of first order and first degree differential equations of various types – examples. Application in problems of growth and decay.
    Vector Algebra :_
    Vectors in two and three dimensions, magnitude and direction of a vector. Unit and null vectors, addition of vectors, scalar multiplication of vector, scalar product or dot product of two-vectors. Vector product and cross product of two vectors. Applications-work done by a force and moment of a force, and in geometrical problems.
    Statistics and Probability :-
    Statistics: Classification of data, Frequency distribution, cumulative frequency distribution – examples Graphical representation – Histogram, Pie Chart, Frequency Polygon – examples. Measures of Central tendency – mean, median and mode. Variance and standard deviation – determination and comparison. Correlation and regression.
    Probability : Random experiment, outcomes and associated sample space, events, mutually exclusive and exhaustive events, impossible and certain events. Union and Intersection of events. Complementary, elementary and composite events. Definition of probability – classical and statistical – examples. Elementary theorems on probability – simple problems. Conditional probability, Bayes’ theorem – simple problems. Random variable as function on a sample space. Binomial distribution, examples of random experiments giving rise to Binominal distribution.

    Part “A” – ENGLISH (Maximum Marks 200). The question paper in English will be designed to test the candidate”s understanding of English and workman like use of words. The syllabus covers various aspects like : Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate”s proficiency in English.

    The question paper on General Knowledge will broadly cover the subjects : Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Events.
    The syllabus given below is designed to indicate the scope of these subjects included in this paper. The topics mentioned are not to be regarded as exhaustive and questions on topics of similar nature not specifically mentioned in the syllabus may also be asked. Candidate”s answers are expected to show their knowledge and intelligent understanding of the subject.

    Rectilinear propagation of Light, Reflection and refraction. Spherical mirrors and Lenses. Human Eye.
    Natural and Artificial Magnets, Properties of a Magnet, Earth as a Magnet.
    Static and Current Electricity, conductors and Non-conductors, Ohm”s Law, Simple Electrical Circuits, Heating, Lighting and Magnetic effects of Current, Measurement of Electrical Power, Primary and Secondary Cells, Use of X-Rays.

    Preparation and Properties of Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbondioxide, Oxidation and Reduction.
    Acids, bases and salts.
    Carbon – different forms.
    Fertilizers – Natural and Artificial
    Material used in the preparation of substances like soap, Glass, Ink, Paper, Cement, Paints, Safety Matches, and Gun-Powder.

    Section “C” (General Science)

    Atmosphere and its composition; Temperature and Atmospheric Pressure, Planetary Winds, cyclones and Anti-cyclones; Humidity; Condensation and Precipitation; Types of Climate. Major Natural regions of the World.
    Regional Geography of India – Climate, Natural vegetation. Mineral and Power resources; location and distribution of agricultural and industrial activities.
    Important Sea ports and main sea, land and air routes of India. Main items of Imports and Exports of India.
    Section “F” (Current Events)
    Knowledge of Important events that have happened in India in the recent years.
    Current important world events.
    Prominent personalities – both Indian and International including those connected with cultural activities and sports.

    Eligibility for NDA exam:-

    NDA have three wings :

    1.Indian Air Force

    2.Indian Army

    3.Indian Navy

    Age Limit between for 16.5 to 19 yrs.

    No Age Relaxation facility will given for this entrance test.

    You can appear Not more then 3 times for NDA Exam.

    Education qualification


    Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.

    Candidates who want to join Indian Air Force or Naval Academy should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

    Also students studying in second year of 10+2 or equivalent exam are eligible for applying NDA & NA exam.

    Only boys can apply for the exam.

    Candidates who want to become officers through NDA & NA examination should not be married.


    Nationality


    The candidate must be an Indian citizen.


    Physical Standard

    >The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely in interfere with the efficient performance of military duties.

    >There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight.

    > The candidate should not be overweight or obese.

    > The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms. (162.5 cms for Air Force)

    NDA stands for National Defence Academy


    NDA is an entrance exam which is conduct by Union Public Service Commision twice every year for Indian Defence services.
    This exam conduct as NDA (I) and NDA (II).
    This exam mainly for three wings of Defence = Indian Military, Indian Airforce and Indian Navy.


    Eligiblity Criteria for both NDA (I) and NDA (II) exam =


    > Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
    > Only unmarried male candidate are eligible for the exam.
    > Candidate's minimum age should fall between 16.5 years to 19 years.
    > Candidate should complete their 12th standerd from a recognized board
    with Physics,Chemistry and Maths.
    > Candidate should be Medically and Physicaly fit for NDA exam.

    NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year . NDA has three wing - Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.NDA two exams are NDA I and NDA II .

    Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA Exam .Final year of 12th standard candidate are also applicable for NDA exam.

    Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

    You must have a citizenship of India .

    Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.
