    Syllabus for CSIR entrance exam:
    The test is divided into three parts A,B,C. The syllabus has been mentioned as per division below-

    1.Part-A shall be common to all subjects including Engineering Sciences.This part contains questions pertaining to general aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis ,analytical and numerical ability , puzzles etc.

    2.In Engineering Sciences , Part -B shall contain questions pertaining to Mathematics and Engineering aptitude and Part-C will contain questions pertaining or Multiple choice questions(MCQ'S).

    3.Part-B shall contain subject related conventional multiple choice questions(MCQ'S) covering the topics covered in the syllabus.

    4. Part-C shall contain highest value questions that will test the scientific concepts and applications of scientific concepts.

    5. importantly there will be negative marks for wrong answers.

    Basically the CSIR exam is divided into the Three parts as follows:

    1.General Aptitude questions
    2. Mathematics & Engineering Aptitude
    3.Scientific concepts & their applications.

    >> Educational Requirement
    - Candidate shold have complete M.Sc or Equivalent degree in recognized University.
    - Open and OBC Category Required minimum 55% Marks and SC/ST Category Required minimum 50% Marks.

    >> Age limit
    - 19 to 28 years for Open category.
    - 19 to 33 years for OBC/SC/ST category.

    >> Exam detail
    - Maximum marks is 200.
    - Time duration is 3 Hours.
    - Paper contain in Three parts.

    >> Subject Name
    - Engineering Sciences
    - Mathematical Sciences
    - Chemical Sciences
    - Physical Sciences
    - Life Sciences

    >> Syllabus

    1) Part 1 = This section contain question for below subject.

    2) Part 2 = This section contain MCQ type question as per syllabus.
