    Dear friend,

I am sorry to say that both the subjects Physical Education and C++ not comes in the main exams. For my suggestion choose the Economics and (With the economics choose either Statistics or Mathematics) because mathematics or statistics are related to the your course but only economics you have to study which is not tough. The list of subjects from you can choose your subjects for the Main exam and other information are given below:

Civil Services exam is conducted by the UPSC only one times in a year and it has two papers conducted separately in a year followed by one paper.

    1. Preliminary Examination
    2. Main Examination followed by the interview.

Preliminary examination qualified candidates can apply only in the Main examination. Preliminary examination is common to all the candidates.

    Eligibility conditions:

Age Limit: The candidates must be 21 yrs and maximum age limit is 30 years. There is upper age relaxation to the SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PH candidates.

Educational qualification: Any degree holder candidates can apply or final year appearing candidates can also apply in the preliminary examination but if they passed the preliminary exam then they will be able to attend the main exam only then, there result declared otherwise not eligible.

If u want to become a IAS Officer then u can take any of the subjects Physical Education or C++. There is no problem in taking any of the subjects for civil services. You should take that subject in which u are good in. It doesn't matter which subject u choose among the two subjects mentioned above. But to become a IAS Officer u need to be very strong in Social Studies and Political Science and General Knowledge.

So work hard then u will get your result.

it would be wise for you to choose the c++ as optional subject.

cause its an era of computer. and if you can absorb a little of it you can easily go for any typical examinations or interview.

if you learn programming languages like c++,java etc. you can surely crack any corporate sectors as well as govt sectors with an ease.

    so learn it.

    all the best.

    hi !

Both physical education and C++ are not a part of IAS exam syllabus.
Choose according to your interest and focus on your school syllabus for now. You'll have time during graduation to think about IAS.

WELL MY FRIEND......YOU CAN SEE IT QUITE WELL NEITHER PHYSICAL EDUCATION NOR C++ WILL BE REQUIRED FOR IAS .........SO YOU CAN TAKE ANY ONE WITHOUT MUCH HESITATION.MY OPINION IS THAT YOU SHOULD GO FOR C++......BECAUSE IT IS TECHNICAL STREAM AND IT WILL COME HANDY DURING YOUR IAS INTERVIEW ...... MOREOVER IT WILL GIVE YOU KINDA ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE OR RATHER AND EDGE OVER OTHERS

YOU SHOULD CONCENTRATE WELL AND STUDY C++ IF YOU TAKE IT.....DON'T NEGLECT IT .....IT IS QUITE A TOUGH SUBJECT.....STILL GO FOR IT........PHYSICAL EDUCATION WILL NOT ADD ANY BOOST TO YOUR CV,............ SO ITS BETTER TO AVOID IT AND GO FOR C ++
YOU CAN ALSO CHOOSE MATHEMATICS/STATISTICS/BIOLOGY AS YOUR OPTIONAL SUBJECTS!!!!
