    Hello Dear

Well the Branches that you have mentioned in your query are good enough to get an entry level position of Scientific assistant in I.S.R.O. However you have to go through certain screening procedure.

    lpsc-isro-logo-employment-news.jpg

--> You have to maintain 65% aggregate in all semesters without any backlog
--> You have to crack the I.S.R.O exam for the post of scientific assistant conducted every year.
--> You also have to clear the technical Hr round after the written test.

I think Mechanical or Electronics stream would be better because the number of vacancies for these two branches in I.S.R.O is a bit high

See getting a job in I.S.R.O is not that easy. The competition is really very high. You have to be really good in your conceptual knowledge and communication skills to be able to crack the I.S.R.O exam.Well I really appreciate your dreams for job in one of the biggest space research organization of the world i.e NASA.But to be honest the path to success is really very difficult.

    NASA_4.gif

Since NASA never hire freshers directly. So for a job in NASA you have to work either in I.S.R.O,E.C.I.L OR D.R.D.O for a longer period (about 8 to 10 years). After gaining some some experience in any of these firms you may apply in NASA. But mind you. Only few candidates are outsourced by NASA for their space and research programs. So again its gonna be difficult.

I guess its a long journey ahead of you.So its better to concentrate in your studies from now onwards. Complete your Engineering with 65% first.Later you may think over other options.

Anyways best of luck for a bright career ahead.

    Regards
