NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.This exam will be happen twice time in a year.
Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.
For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.
For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.
For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

NET stands for National eligibility test. This is the national level entrance exam for postgraduate students and This is the Conducted by the University Grants Commission. You can do Lectureship in various Indian universities and colleges after cracking this exam.
Paper II of English is an important paper and needs good attention, understanding of the subject and extensive study. English is hugely acclaimed worldwide so it has huge popularity in this exam.
Question Paper pattern of English (Paper II) :
- The paper of English is of 75 minutes.
- The total marks of the paper is 100, the number of questions being 50 and of objective type.
- Questions are based on the language English and candidate should be thorough with this subject to score the maximum marks.
- There is no scheme of negative marking in this paper.
