    Hello friend,

    The National Aptitude Text in Architecture exam is conducted in two parts:

    1) The Computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test and
    2) The Paper based drawing test.

    * The Computer Based Aesthetic Sensitivity Test is a test of two hours which contains 40 Multiple Choice Questions.
    * Negative marking is not there.
    * This test measures the drawing and observation skills of the candidates, their sense of proportion, critical thinking ability and aesthetic sensitivity.
    * The Paper Based Drawing Test is of two hours which consists of two questions with each question containing two sub questions.

    Here are some good books to refer:
    B arch exam guide by PK Sharma
    Engineering drawing by N.D.Bhatt and Pancha
    and try out the verbal and non verbal reasoning book by R.S.Agarwal.

    The score is valid for 2 years. There are a number of good institutes accepting the NATA score throughout the nation.
    keep practicing your skills. You have to be be very creative and must have good perception skills.

    NATA is an acronym for National aptitude test in Architecture.
    NATA is held to admit a student in B.Arch degree course.The duration of this course is 5 years.
    This test is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced studies in Architecture(NIASA).


    Eligibility :


    You have to pass your 10+2 from a recognized board/university with mathematics as compulsory subject and should have at least 50% aggregate marks.


    NATA test is conducted on 2 papers:


    Paper-1 is based on drawing test for 2 hrs.drawing test have 3 questions of total 100 marks.


    Paper-2 computer based online aesthetic sensitivity for one hr.Online test have 40 multiple choice questions of total 100 marks.

    NATA: national aptitude test for Architecture, this is mainly observation and perception based exam, no need to study many books, and doesnt require huge study for this exam, just prepare in maths, logical reasoning and drawing definitely you will select.

    There is a particular way to and method which you have to follow to prepare for any comp[etitive or general exams which as follows,

    There are two set of tests to clear the NATA exam which as follows,

    Drawing test

    Aesthetic Sensitivity Test.

    So once you know the pattern of the exam will have an idea about how is the level of the exam i.e it is easy ,tough etc.according to your thoughts then you can plan yourself for whether to attend some coaching class to prepare for the exam or by self study.

    The National Aptitude Text in Architecture exam is conducted in two parts:


    1) The Computer based online aesthetic sensitivity test and
    2) The Paper based drawing test.


    * The Computer Based Aesthetic Sensitivity Test is a test of two hours which contains 40 Multiple Choice Questions.
    * Negative marking is not there.
    * This test measures the drawing and observation skills of the candidates, their sense of proportion, critical thinking ability and aesthetic sensitivity.
    * The Paper Based Drawing Test is of two hours which consists of two questions with each question containing two sub questions.

    National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)

    This is the entrance exam for the 5 year B.Arch course in the colleges of architecture.
    To appear in this examination candidate must have at least 10+2 degree with mathematics as the passing subject in class 12.

    You must have scored at least 50% in 12th.
    OR
    You must have 10+3 diploma in any stream from the college recognized by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

    NATA fees is Rs.800 and is to be paid at the time of Registration and before collection of the appointment voucher from the NATA Test Center.

    NATA examination is conducted by the National Institute of Advanced studies in Architecture, New Delhi.

    For appearing this exam you must have a intermediate certificate from valid recognized university or institution with atleast 55-60% marks.

    NATA consists the following syllabus for appearing the exam:

    NATA- National Aptitude Test in Architecture
