    KPSC stands for Karnataka Public Service Commission

    Candidate should be an India citizen.

    Minimum Qualification for KPSC exam is graduate degree but for different posts qualification will be different.



    Age limit – For this exam candidate's minimum age should between 18 to 33 years.
    Reserve category candidate get relaxation in Upper age...
    SC/ST/Cat.I - 5 years
    2A/2B/3A/3B - 3 years
    EX-MP - Number of years served by them plus 3 years.
    Physically Handicapped -10 years
    Widows -10 years


    Exam held in three stages...


    > Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)


    > Main Examination (Written Examination)


    > Interview

    Qualification required for KPSC exam:-

    1.You should complete the graduation from recognized university.

    2.You should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.

    3.Age should be in between 21-35 years.
    For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

    4.You must be a citizen of India.

    5.Final year students can also apply for KPSC exam.

    These are the minimum eligibility criteria you need to fulfill.

    KPSC is same as UPSC exam pattern AS WELL A OTHER ACTIVITY,

    difference between them is UPSC is at central level.

    KPSC is at State level.

    Exam Eligibility;-

    1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
    2-There is no percentage requirement
    3-Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible.
    Age limits;-

    General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.

    Age relaxation;

    3 years age relaxation for OBC category
    5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
    10 years for PH candidates

    Number Of Attempts;-

    4 times for General category Candidates

    7 times for OBC candidates

    No limit for SC/ST category

    * You must have Bachelor degre from any recognizing university.
    * Age limit must be within 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper limit is 35 year.For OBC candidate it is 33year.
    * Candidate must be citizen of India.
    * A general candidate can apply 4 times for IAS and SC/ST/OBC can apply 7 times at most.


    SELECTION PROCESS

    * Priliminary exam.

    Qualification required for KPSC exam

    You must be a graduate to apply for KPSC exam.

    It is conducted every year and has three stages:

    Preliminary, Main and Interview
    .

    Preliminary Exam:
    This is the first stage of the selection process. Most of the applicants do not qualify this stage. Approximately 1 out of 50 students can go to the Main examination.
    In this examination there are two papers: i)General Studies (300Marks) and ii)an optional subject chosen by you (150 Marks).
    This is a multiple choice type examination.


    Main Exam:

    This exam is much tougher. Here the examinations will be traditional type, no MCQ. You have to appear in these papers:
    i) One Indian Language Paper -300 marks ( qualifying )
    ii) English – 300 marks ( qualifying )
    iii) General Essay-200 marks
    iv) Two General Studies papers – 300 + 300
    v) Two Optional subjects with two papers each-4x300

    Karnataka announces kpsc notification for recruitment of various government posts of group-1 and 2 in the state.

    Following is the eligibility criteria for the kpsc:

    @age:
    General 18-33 years
    sc/st 5 years age relaxation
    physically handicapped/widows:10 years
    2a/2b/3a/3b 3 years age relaxation.

    @kpsc conducts exam in 3 stages:
    Stage-i preliminary
    stage-2 mains
    stage-3 personality test.

    @you should complete your degree from a recognized university.
    @stream of degree differs for different posts.

    KPSC – Karnataka Public Service Commission

    KPSC is conducted by Karnataka government for recruitment of officers at various government departments.


    Qualification required for KPSC exam –

    To be eligible for KPSC exam, a candidate should a hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

    Besides this, candidate’s age should be between the limit of 21 years to 35 years.

    Upper age limits are relaxed as per government rules.


    The exam consists of three stages –

    1. Preliminary stage
    2. Main exam
    3- Interview


    Preliminary exam is a multiple choice questions type exam.

    There are two papers in it –

    # general studies for 300 marks
    # Optional subject for 50 marks.


    After qualifying preliminary exam, main exam has to be qualified.

    This is a subjective type paper and there are 5 papers -

    # One Indian Language Paper for 300 marks.
    #English for 300 marks

    # general essay for 200 marks

    # Two general studies papers , each for 300 marks

    -Age limit specified is 18-33 years
    -Educational qualification is minimum graduation from any recognized university or board from India.

    For OBC/SC/ST candidates there is upper age limit relaxation.

    -GD and PI

    • KPSC i.e karnataka public service commission which conducts examination for different posts in karnataka.
    • You can apply for the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS) examination which has three stages preliminary exam, main exam and interview.
    • As per the eligibility criteria, you must have the bachelor degree or master degree in any stream from an recognised university.
    • The age required for this examination is in the limit of 21 years to 35 years.
    • Age relaxations is provided to the reserved category.
