    Qualification criteria of SSC GCL exam

    NO, you cannot apply for the SSC Combined Graduate level exams as you have just Diploma .
    SSC has already announced its exam notification for the year 2013
    Exams would be held on 14th and 21st April 2013

    You can only apply if you meet the below eligibilty:

    Education >>
    Bachelors Degree pass in any stream
    No Minimum Percentage is required in Bachelors Degree.

    AGE >> Minimum 18 years
    Maximum 27 years
    AGE Relaxations- 3 years for OBC candidates, 7 years for SC/ST candidates

    No, as a diploma holder you are not eligible to give this exam.

    TO give SSC CGL Exam, you should have a degree from recognized university.

    SSC CGL Exam is conducted for recruitment to different posts.

    The examination will consist of 2 tiers of written exam.

    Then Computer proficiency test/Interview/skill test.

    Fee: 100rs.

    Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying application fee.

    Important Dates for SSC CGL Exam 2013:

    Date of form submission (offline/online) starts: 19.01.2013.

    Last Date of CGL 2013 offline form submission: 15.02.2013. For remote areas: 22.02.2013)

    Last Date of CGL 2013 online form submission: Part-I: 13.02.2013 & Part-II: 15.02.2013.

    Date of CGL 2013 (Tier-I) exam: 14th & 21st April,2013.

    Date of CGL 2013 (Tier-II) exam: 20th & 21st July, 2013.

    • No, diploma holders are not allowed to apply for the combined graduate level examination which is conducted by staff selection commission (SSC).
    • You must have completed the graduation in any stream from an recognised university in order to appear in this exam.
    • The age limit for this examination is stated to be between 18 years to 27 years.
    • Also there is an provision for the age relaxations to the reserved category as per the rules.
    • Exam is stated to held on 14th April 2013 and 21st April 2013

    Eligibilty Criteria set up by SSC for the candidates who can apply for the SSC combined Graduate Level Exams is:
    Graduation Pass in any stream

    Age of the candidates should be between 18 and 27 years
    Age relaxations of 3 years and 5 years are given to OBC and SC/ST candidates

    Exam would be held on 14th and 21st April 2013

    But since you are not a Graduate, so you cannot apply for this exam.

    All candidates those who want to apply and appear for SSC - Combined Graduate Level Exam - should have passed a graduation or bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized and reputed institute or university or college and age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years and SC/ST category candidates can apply for this exam till 32 years of age, OBC category candidates can apply for this exam till 30 years of age after getting relaxation in upper age as per government standards.

    Start date for online application for SSC CGL - 2013 - 19-01-2013

    Last date for online application for SSC CGL - 2013 - 15-02-2013

    There are two dates announced by the SSC for this exam which are - 14-04-2013 and 21-04-2013

    SSC ~ Staff Selection commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination every year for various vacancies in Government Departments and Ministries.




    Eligibility Criteria for SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam


    >> For applying this exam candidate should have nationality of India


    >> Candidate's age should fall between 18-27 years of age on the closing date of the examination.
    Reserve category candidate get relaxation in their upper age as per the Government rules and norms.


    >> Candidate should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.


    >> For the post of Compiler and Statistical investigator applicant should have
    studied Economics/statistics/mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects at the level of graduation.


    >> For the post of Assistants (CSS), Computer Knowledge is compulsory requirement.




    Exam held in two sections.Written exam will be based on Objective type of question.
    After qualifying the written exam you have to clearout the Interview and Medical Test.

    1. A graduate from the recognized University in any discipline can Write ssc cgl exam.

    2.AGE : Gen: 18-27 years, relaxations for OBC 3 years S/C S/T 5 years.

    3.Nationality: Indian.

    This exam consists with multiple objectve pattern questions on the subject:

    1.English 2.GK awareness.3.General intelligence & Reasoning 4.Aptitude.

    Duration 2 hours.
