for clearing ur CA u may refer maths of science stream.

It is better to do graduation in Commerce.Because CA contains full of Accountancy & Commerce is the best subject where you can easily find accounts.
If you are willing to do then you could proceed for both together that is Graduation & CA.But note that CA is very difficult to cope, if you think that you can handle both then go for it simultaneously.

Yes,there are differences.Few of them are:

To become a Chartered Accountant, doing graduation in commerce will be the best option. Regarding doing honours or pass course, for that i would suggest you to do honours in Accountancy because CA will be mainly related with account related and doing honours in accountancy will be agreat help for you in doing CA.

So if you have still not joined any stream please try to get admission in good commerce college.

If you already had joined any other stream( arts or science) then it wont be a problem but will face little bit difficulty while pursuing CA.

Best of Luck for your future.

friend you can do CA after 12 class but if you want to do CA after graduation the you should go for B.com(h) in B.com(h) you will find all the subject which are in CA so B.com(H) is the most suitable course which will help you for CA. ca having accounts, law, maths, business,i.tax these same subject you will find in your B.com(h). you can also go for b.com pass but for a ca b.com h is the best option there you can built the base of CA by solving all types of question in advance CA have only high level question as compare to B.com (h) and all the course is same
so you go for b.com (h) and best of luck

    CA - Chartered Accountant
    Duration 4 years

For Doing CA after the Completion any degree in any stream can do the CA course but the Best stream to choose for CA is Commerce stream because after studying the Commerce stream you get some knowledge about the Accountany the Indian economy and commerce then you can study easily to pass in the CA exam

UG Degree are the Best course to Study CA
    B.Com(General)
    B.Com(Accounting & Finance)
    B.Com(Bank Management)
    B.Com(Corporate Secretrateship)

    The Levels in CA
    Foundation
    Intermediate
    Final

After the Completion of 12th stand you need to Study from the Foundation itself then only you can understand the basic Concept
But After studying Your UG degree you need not do foundation you can directly go for the second level Intermediate it is the only advantage after the UG degree

Re: Pursuing graduation in which stream will be better in order to become a CA?

A candidate can join in CA course after completing his 10th standard by appear for the CPT entrance examination of CA.most of the students write CPT exam after 10+2 exam or equivalent.

it is not compulsory for a candidate to complete graduation course to get qualified for CA. But completing graduation degree course such as B. Com etc will help the candidates more because the topics covered in B Com is related to CA and it will help a lot when you do CA course and many more fundamental knowledge.

CA is a professional course, but when it come to the stage of doing any higher studies or job etc, it is very much required for a person to be a graduate, because in most of the cases the basic qualification is considered to get a degree from the recognized colleges or university. so it is always good to do B.com related courses.....

    good luck

It is depends upon you,if you are interested in any computer science or science course then go for this course after completing graduation, then join in CA course. But my point of you go for Commerce stream it is very helpful for your CA.Commerce course like B.Com(General),B.Com(A & F),B.Com(CS),B.com(banking)....etc.After completing your graduation you need to not appear for foundation course, you can directly join in Intermediate course.Foundation course is for 12th level candidates and foundation course is not necessary for graduate candidates.

CA :- Charted Accountancy,it is professional Course and duration of course is four years and this course is divided into various stages.

    The stages are :-

    -Foundation Level
    -Intermediate Level
    -Final Level

Eligibility Criteria for this examination :-

The candidate need to completed 12th examination in any stream from a recognized Board or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 50-55% aggregate marks in their examination to apply for Foundation course. If you are completed any degree and then you can directly join in Intermediate course and you need to not appear for Foundation course.

Candidates who are waiting for the 10+2 examination results may also eligible to apply for this examination.

Re: Pursuing graduation in which stream will be better in order to become a CA?

The only requirement for appearing in the CA exam is (if intermediate exam) graduation with maths as one of the subject. Having said that its always better to pursue commerce as tat will make the basics of CA exam and it will give you an edge over other CA aspirants who are not from commerce background.

However, you need not to even complete your graduation in order to sit in the CAT exam. If you clear its foundation stage then that is considered as equivalent to graduation and you are eligible for the inter exam, which otherwise requires graduation degree.

    CA means chartered Accountant .

So as far as my knowledge is concern one has to do Bcom in order to pursue further studies in CA. Commerce is best for those who are willing to do CA. Coz it requires a knowldege of Accountancy which is there in Commerce rather than Arts and Science. Also it will boost your knowledge in terms of CA and enhance your carreer further.

    best of Luck..

    Hello,
There is no bound to the streams for the CA. But the Best graduation course to become CA is Commerce undoubtly. For further Honours or Pass course i would suggest Accountancy as CA is mainly based with accounts and you will be in advantage while preparing for CA.
Being a Science or Arts Student the difficulty level will be bit more.

You don't need to complete your Graduation in order to join CA course.

Soon after the completion of your 12th class itself, you are eligible to join this course.

You can complete the CA course by

    CPT Exam
    PCC
    CA Final

You should also do Articleship as a part of CA course under certified Charted Accountant.

If you are good at academics, then only opt for CA course.

Otherwise it will take years and years of time for you to complete the CA course.

    All the best.

    Friend,

CA which means Chartered Accountant is related to commercial mathematics and analytical mathematics.

The eligibility for CA course is that you need to pass a proficiency test after +2.
So you just need to pass +2 to be eligible to enroll for foundation course of CA.

The other details are described in brief:
    - You can enroll for any of the course of Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) after passing proficiency
test and passing +2. This proficiency test is conducted by a examining body of central govt.

    - If you have already passed proficiency test then also you can enroll for this exam.

For proficiency test, You need to enroll just passing 10th exam and exam is conducted after +2.
then you need to enroll for grp1 and Grp2 of IPCC course.

For enrolling and registering, you can enroll on the official site
www.icai.org and you can get more information.
