    Procedure to join ICSI for 12th passed candidate?

    Respected Sir/Madam,
    I have passed twelve exam and i want to join icsi .
    So can i do it???? What's the procedure please suggest me.........

    YES, you can join ICSI Company Secretary Course.

    This course is done in three stages and you can start this course just after passing class 12th.
    The three stages are:
    >> Foundation
    >> Executive
    >> Professional

    After passing class 12th, you can join the Foundation Course
    Foundation course can be completed in just 8 months
    Fees is Rs 3600/- for this stage

    You have to study and pass the below 4 subjects in the Foundation course
    1. Business Environment and Entrepreneurship

    2. Business Management, ethics and Communication

    3. Business Economics

    4. Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing


    So, Buy the prospectus for Rs 200/- and take admission in the Foundation Course

    If you want to make your carrier as a profession in the field of company secretary then you can apply for foundation level i.e first stage after 12th.When you will apply for the registration then they mention that the registration will be valid for 5 years and after that you have to apply for the de-nova registrationThe stages and subjects of CS are :
    Foundation level :
    1. English
    2. Law
    3. Management
    4. Maths
    Executive level :

    1. General & commercial law
    2. Cost accounting
    3. Taxation
    4. Company law
    5. Economic and labour law
    6. Security law
    Final/ professional level :
    1. Secreterial practice
    2. drafting and pleading
    3. financial management
    4. merger and reconstrauction
    5. advance taxation
    6. Stretegic mgt
    7. corporate governance
    8. Business ethics

    In that process, you will have to do the article ship under the practicing Cs for the period of 15 months.

    • ICSI (Institute of company secretaries of India) conducts the company secretary (CS) Course.
    • It has three stages which are foundation programme, executive programme and professional programme.
    • You can register for this course online by visiting Icsi.edu
    • You can also purchase the registration form with prospectus from nearest CS branch.
    • The fees for registering in foundation course is Rs.4,500.
    • This eight month course and the exam of it is organised twice every year.
    • All the papers is conducted in single day and it's objective type paper.

    Dear ,

    CS - COMPANY SECRETARY course managed and conducted by ICSI(Institute of Company Secretary of India) is a correspondence course and can be taken any time of a year.

    The CS course is divided in to three parts:-

    -FOUNDATION PROGRAM
    -EXECUTIVE PROGRAM
    -PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM


    The candidate having completed 12th in any stream is eligible for Foundation Program.

    For Foundation Program you have to register with ICSI by submitting the registration fees for Rs.3600.00 with examination fees for Rs.875.00.

    For June term exam one has to register by 30th September accordingly if you register yourself by 30th September 2012 then you can appear for June 2013 exam.

    CS stands for Company Secretary.


    “The Institute of Company Secretaries of India(ICSI)" conducts the admission procedure into the CS course.


    Stages to become a Company Secretary :-


    The student who would like to join the Course after 10+2 has to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course i.e.


    Foundation Programme
    Executive Programme
    Professional Programme


    The Student who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of the Company Secretaryship i.e.


    Executive Programme
    Professional Programme


    Explanation about the Stages :-


    Foundation Programme which is of eight months duration can be pursued by 10+2 pass students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream.


    And fee for this course is 3600




    Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.


    And fee for this course is 7000


    Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course.


    Admission Procedure :


    For admission you have to fill Application Form.


    Examinations are held twice a year in June & December.


    Subjects For CS course :-


    There are 4 papers in CS Foundation Programme


    English and Business Communication
    Economics and Statistics
    Financial Accounting
    Elements of Business Laws and Management.
