    Preparation, syllabus, date and books for IAS examination?

    I want to give IAS exam.but i have little knowledge about ias exam prepration.i am in BCA 3rd Year at present.how should i prepare for this exam? Send me as much as detail about IAS Exam prepration, syllabus, examination date,books..nd kowledge which is necessary for me

    Eligibility
    The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university
    Final year degree students who will obtain degree by August 1, 2013 are also eligible for CSAT 2013
    The degree can be of any class (distinction, first, second etc.)
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university
    Number of attempts

    OBC: 7


    Physically Handicapped: 7


    SC & ST: No limit on number of attempts -

    PAPER-V: General Studies- IV: Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude-250 Marks

    UPSC Civil Services Exams are held in three stages: Prelims

    Minimum eligibilty to apply for the UPSC Civil Services exams is:

    IAS exam its a Indian administrative Service,It was conducted every year in India to fill prestigious posts like IAS (Indian Administrative Service), IPS (Indian Police Service), IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IRS (Indian Revenue Service) and many other .

    And There are three Parts Of This IAS Exam

    CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
    Mains (Civil Services Mains)
    Personality test (interview)

    Educational Qualification IAS Exams

    Dear friend,

    IAS Exam is one of the most prestigious exam in India.

    Every year about lakhs of aspirants appear for this exam and about 910 candidates get success.

    For appearing in Civil Services Exam, you must be in final year of Graduation or you should have completed their Graduation Course.

    Age Criteria:

    For General: 21 to 30 years

    For OBC: 21 to 33 years

    For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

    IAS Aspirants will have to pass three stages to crack this exam:

    >> Preliminary Exam (CSAT Exam)

    >> Mains Exam

    >> Personal Interview
