    i want some detailed information regarding the recruitment procedure of the software companies, and also suggest me how to prepare for technical and HR rounds ........when will the exam(recruitment exam for different companies) be conducted? how to apply for that?

    There are 3 ways to get a job in them : 1. Through campus placement 2. By updating resumes online on the websites of companies 3. Through some consultancy The options have been listed as per the ease criteria means the option 1 is the best and easiest of all and difficulty goes on increasing level down .. There is no particular time for applying to these firms for jobs ,if they have your information they will send you a call interview to participate in the recruitment process .if you have enough experience you might be even able to skip the written test rounds ,but if you are a fresher ,you should be well aware of the pattern of all the recruitment rounds Mainly all the companies have a similar written test pattern for the placement which consists of the : 1) Aptitude,quant, reasoning ,DI 2) English test 3) Technical test After the written test ,there are 2 interviews : 1) Technical interview 2) HR interview I ve attached all the useful material in the attachments which will give you an idea about how the different rounds occur .

    Recruitment in software companies basically contains 3 rounds:
    1.Aptitude Test
    2.Technical Test
    3.HR round

    Aptitude Test : this section contains questions related to maths and english. You may find basic maths problems related to percentage,ratio and proportion,discounts,profit and loss,probability,problems on speed and time etc.
    English section contains passage questions,grammar related questions,verbal and non-verbal questions, passage writing etc.
    You can prepare for the english aptitude section from "RS Agarwal's" - Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning
    and for maths section refer "RS Agarwal's" - Quantitative Aptitude

    Technical Section: this section basically contains questions that you have learned in your entire degree subjects right from the first to the last year.

    HR round: this round is a personal round.You may be asked questions from your CV,your educational background,some questions to test your mental ability.

    Openings in the IT companies usually start in you final year.You could apply for the fresher post either through the company website, or by uploading your CV on job sites like Naukri.com,Monster.com etc.Companies even visit colleges for campus placements.So be sure that you are eligible for it.Basic criteria for campus placements are :
    1. 60% in you 10th,12th and degree.
    2.No backlogs.
