    NET stands for National Educational Test.
    This exam is conducted by UGC(University grants commission) to check the candidates for Junior research fellowship and lectureship.
    Eligibility criteria:
    • you should have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC
    • Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited can also apply.
    Age limits:

    • For junior fellowship:Your age should not be more than 28 years on 1st june of the year of exam.(5 years for SC/ST/PWD/OBC)
    • For lectureship:There is no age limit.

    NET(National Eligibility Test)is conducted by UGC twice in a year.Eligibility: A Post Graduate degree holder from the recognized Institution having 55% marks can write this Test.AGE: There is no age bar only (JRF)candidates to complete NET within 28 years to get scholarship money.The validity of NET score card is 2(two) years.

    Post Graduation with 55% marks is the minimum qualification needed for UGC NET.

    There is 5% relaxation in marks for the candidates who belong to SC/ST/PWD category.

    I don't know why you opted for 2 years Post Graduate Diploma if the Post Graduate Degree was available to you.

    Hence if you want to become eligible for UGC NET then you can opt for Post Graduation Degree program in respective stream and get above 55% marks then you will be eligible for UGC NET.

    • NET refers to National eligibility test which is conducted by the university grant commission (UGC) for lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship.
    • You must have the post graduation degree with having minimum 55% marks in any stream from recognised university.
    • If you are from the reserved category, then minimum 50% marks is the requirement.
    • There is no age limit determined for lectureship and upper age limit of 28 years for Junior Research Fellowship .

    Hi friend...The minimum educational qualification required to apply for NET exam conducted by UGC is post graduation with atleast 55% of marks for general category and 5% relaxation for reserved category candidates...And there is no upper age limit to apply for NET exam...ALL THE BEST...

    NET(National Eligibility Test)entrance examination is conducted by UGC twice in a year.

    NET ELIGIBILITY:

    * A Post Graduate degree holder from the recognized Institution having minimum 55% marks can write UGC NET .

    * Relaxations are there for R category students they are to get minimum 50% marks to attend NET.

    * Nationality: Indian.

    * Age: There is no age limit(Except JRF candidate).

    * Validity: Validity of UGC NET score card is 2(two) years.

    *Purpose: Having the UGC NET score card a candidate can get GOVT.College lecturer ship very easily(without stress 7 strain).

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test. this exam is conducted by University Grant Commission....



    This exam is conducted for two post:

    1). JRF

    2). Lecturer Post.




    A candidate who have completed their Post Graduation degree/Master Degree in any Discipline from recognized university are eligible for applying this Examination.....

    A candidate must have secured at least 55% in their Graduation degree. the Relaxation on the Percentages is applicable up to 5% Relax for Reserved category students......

    There is no any Age Criteria for applying Lectureship Post but for Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years this exam.....

    For OBC/SC/ST/PWD it is up to 5 year on upper age...

    Nationality of candidate must be INDIAN.....
