First of all hats off to you that you have completed your B.Tech with a good percentage of 70%.

See,the fact that you passed your 12th class from a private institute is the thing of the past.
You need to live in present and not think about what has already happened.
At the present, the fact is that you have done your B.Tech with a handsome percentage of 70!
I am sure with that percentage, one can make out that you are good at coding and software testing.
Hence if you have the ability, you will surely make it to one of the Top IT companies in India, given the fact had you had done your 12 th from a private institute!
So just concentrate about the interview and written test.
    Prepare well for them.

I am sending you a list of Top 20 IT companies of India that you should target to get into!

    dear friend,

if you want to do the software job then noting to worry. in these days the education is not considered. the only thing is considered which is the knowledge. if you have failed once in the 12th and completed the then you can go for the MNCs.

you have to see that you are good knowledgeable or not. there are many good companies which will recruit you.
if you have to good knowledge of c, c++, Java etc then you will get the job.
you have to make any good project and then run it in the interview in the laptop. then they will impressed and give the job.

    so best of luck

Since you have already completed your Btech with very good marks. You should not worry about your class 12th marks and your passing class 12th as a Private candidates.
HR may ask you about this in Interview, you just need to tell them the truth and also stress the fact that you not only completed your 12th , but also passed your BTech with good marks.

Also you need to make sure that:

    >> Your technical knowledge is very good, Academics performance is used by companies to shortlists candidates and rehject candidates as there is large number of candidates applying for the jobs. But at th end the technical knowledge matters a lot.So if your technical knowledge is very good, you can impress the HR adn the Technical manager or the Operations manager.

    >> Also your Communication skills and interpersonal skills should be excellent.
Today while working in software companies you need to interact a lot with overseas clients so it matters a lot

    >> Also try to get into even a small software company, if you are not getting jobs in big software comnpanies and later with your experience you can apply for big software companies jobs.
