    Hi Buddy,

VLSI - Very Large Scale Integration. With VLSI technology coming into existence there has been rapid change in the world of electronics as the size of many of the electronic devises have become smaller, smarter and better.

Most of the Electronic engineers opt out for the fields such as Embedded systems, communication fields, software, etc.. But royal fields such as VLSI always has number of opportunities.

Students armed with either of these degrees, can then pursue a PG program in VLSI engineering or microelectronics or a diploma in VLSI logic design, physical design. VLSI designers are in huge demand to develop FPGA implementations, ASICs (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) and SoCs (System-on-chip).

As a fresher/ASIC engineer trainee, the starting salary a B. Tech student can expect would range from Rs. 15,000 to 25,000 a month. PG students could look forward to Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 per month. Salaries keep pace with experience and within three years, deserving VLSI professionals are known to earn INR 50,000 to INR 1, 00,000 per month.

There is no such specification that you must possess a minimum aggregate of 60% since the opportunity is more the recruiters mostly look for talent rather then academic qualifications. Hence it would be better for you to take up a Course related to VLSI.
    All the best.

    Dear friend,

vlsi means very large scale integration.vlsi technology is the latest technology in electronics which

enables electronics devices smaller, smarter & better.now a days the royal field of of electronics is vlsi

technology.there are many companies now take elctronics engineering students for the development of vlsi.

Vlsi engineers have now very demand & the salary & the facility they get is much more.in abroad mainly in usa

vlsi technology much more developed & companies like intel deals with technology of vlsi.

    Best of luck..........

    hi,
    dear friend,
VLSI(very large scale integration) is a new technology in the field of electronics , but now a days , this technology is widely used in electronics gadgets, basically in VLSI, we fabricate the chips and ICs in a very compact manner ....

their are many job opportunities for this field , company usually take candidates from the electronics field and also supply handsome salary packages to the employers working under this field..

now as far as your quiery is concern , then i have to say that your graduation percentage is less , but don't worry you definately get a good job in VLSI sector ...

so, all the best... keep doing hard work....
