    Hello,

    University of Delhi (DU), Delhi conducts the Combined Journalism Entrance Test (CJET). The CJET is conducted for taking admission to the first semester Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (Hons.) Journalism in Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kamala Nehru College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Kalindi College and Maharaja Agrasen College. The candidates should have passed the higher secondary examination or its equivalent with English as a subject.

    ^^Eligibility Criteria for CJET 2012^^


    The candidate should have either passed or appeared in the Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other examination considered equivalent by the University of Delhi.


    The minimum aggregate marks of four subjects required and the minimum mark required in English is:

    General candidates should have minimum aggregate marks of 60% with 60% marks in English.
    The OBC candidates should have minimum aggregate marks of 54% with 50% marks in English.
    The CW/PWD candidates should have minimum aggregate marks of 55% with 50% marks in English.
    The SC/ST candidates should have obtained pass marks with 50% marks in English.



    The subjects that are considered for tabulation of aggregate marks can be any of the following:Hindi Core, English Core, Hindi Elective, English Elective/Functional English, Other languages, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Drawing, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Fine Arts, Agriculture, Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Physical Education, Music, Dance, Entrepreneurship, Biotechnology, Web and Multi -Media Technology.


    The candidate should have obtained pass mark in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate in the above mentioned subjects.


    The candidates who have appeared in the class XII examination in 2012 and who repeat a paper for improvement to gain eligibility shall not be considered for admission in the current year.
