    dear friends...........

    your marks are enough to earn u a right to appear in IAS exam.

    there are some other criteria that you have to fulfill
    for general candidates age limit is 21-30 years and the maximum number of attempts u can do is 4.
    for obc candidates age limit is 21-33 years and the maximum number of attempts u can do is 7.
    for sc/st candidates age limit is 21-35 years and there is no limitation for the number of times you can attempt untill you do not cross the age barrier of 35 years.

    IAS examination is conducted by Union Public service Commission(UPSC) every year.

    Yes you will be eligible for Indian Administrative Service(IAS) examination but first of all you have to complete you 4 years B.Tech course. No specific percentage required in bachelor's degree for being eligible in IAS.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS:

    * Candidate have to obtain graduation or any equivalent degree from any government recognized University.

    * Candidate must be a citizen of India.

    * Age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years in the year of appearing of exam.3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 10 years for Physically disable candidates.

    * General candidate candidates can apply for 4 times, 7 times for OBC candidates, No restriction for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

    RECRUITMENT PROCESS IN IAS EXAM:

    -> preliminary examination which contains two papers-Paper I and Paper II. all questions are objective type question.total 200 marks

    -> Main Examination which contains seven papers. 250 marks in each paper.

    -> Personality Test of 275 marks.

    • Yes, you are Eligibile IAS exam for B.Tech appearing candidate having above 60% in 3 consecutive years and 50% in 12th.
    • For the Indian administrative services i.e IAS you must have to apply for the examination called as civil services conducted by UPSC.
    • You should have the bachelor degree in any stream from an recognised university.
    • There is no minimum percentage requirement in 12th or graduation for it.
    • The age limit stated for it is 21 years to 30 years.
    • Age relaxations in upper age limit will be provided to the reserved category.

    You are eligible for IAS as no percentage is required. But let me tell you IAS is not a cake if you want to become IAS you should work hard.

    Eligibility Criteria:-

    >>>Should be graduate from recognized university.

    >>>Age limit:21-30 yrs for general
    21-33 yrs for OBC
    21-35 yrs for SC,ST
    21-40 for PWD

    >>>You should be a citizen of India

    >>>You have 4 attempts if you are general
    7 attempts for OBC
    For SC,ST,PWD they can attempt till they cross age limit.

    You must have INDIAN NATIONALITY.

    According to your Educational Qualifications yes, you are eligible for IAS exam in your Final Year of B.Tech also.

    Generally , in Final year of B.tech , the candidates are eligible to apply for the IAS exam .

    See , you have secured Good percentage upto now in your B.tech . So, you no need to worry about your Percentage now .

    You should remember that , there should be no importance for the 12th percentage . So, not to worry here also .

    So, definitely you can apply for the exam .


    Age criteria of the IAS exam :-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    1. For OC Category candidates , age limit is 21-30 years

    2. For OBC Category candidates , age limit is 21-33 years

    3. For SC , ST category candidates , age limit is 21-35 years




    There is Restriction in Number of attempts for the different category candidates . Those are given below

    For OC category candidates , they will have 4 attempts
    For OBC category candidates , they will have 7 attempts
    For SC , ST category candidates , they will have unlimited number of attempts . All attempts are valid , only if the candidate age is below 35 years
