Re: Is my friend eligible for JEE next year after attempting it twice and appearing for improvement exam?

    dear friend,

IIT stands for Indian Institute Of Technology
it is most prestigious engineering college of India

    but you must know
that after attempting its exam twice candidates are not eligible for appearing for the exam

    eligibility for IIT

    • you must have passed your 10+2 from a recognised board with pcm as compulsory subjects
    • minimum marks required is 60% in pcm
    age limit
    minimum age - 17 years
    maximum age - 25 years

any candidate can appear for IIT exam maximum for 2 times in consecutive years

so your friend is no more eligible for the exam
and also from 2013 onwards a new exam will be conducted in the place of IIT and AIEEE

it will be known as ISEET Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test
it will be conducted at national level by CBSE twice a year

any candidate can appear for this exam maximum for 4 times in consecutive years

this exam will have a different pattern from that of IIT and AIEEE

    pattern of this exam

this exam will consist of 2 papers
    1 mains
    2 advanced

mains paper will have topics as mentioned below:

    • reasoning
    • english language
    • aptitude
    • critical thinking

advanced paper will have science subjects as syllabus like
    • physics
    • chemistry
    • maths

both exam will be of 3 hours

weightage given to both exams will be 30% each
and rest 40% weightage will be given to 12th board marks

Re: Is my friend eligible for JEE next year after attempting it twice and appearing for improvement exam?

No my friend the maximum times for attempting the JEE exam is two .
As your friend already made both the attempts so that now he can't eligible for the exam .
Though he go for the 12th exam once again still he will not be eligible for the exam .
So instead for go to the 12th exam , go for the college so that your two years are not wasted .
After college you will try to appear the GATE exam so that you will get an admission in good engineering college .
    good luck

    Hello friend,
Yes your friend can attempt WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2013 on the basic of new HIGHER SECONDARY result.Till 2008 there is a age limit of a student is 25 years and maximum 2 attempts for a candidate. But from 2009 there is a change in WBJEE rules. Now there is no age limit and you can attempt more than twice.so do not worry. The maximum attempt in IIT-JEE and AIEEE is two but not in case of WBJEE.
    Best of luck.

    HELLO ASPIRANTS,

Dear, your friend is not eligible for this exam because

you give only 2 times in this exam. You already give two

times engineering exam. So, you leave and take a good

decision in your life.IIT for indian institute of technology.

    GOOD LUCK

Dear.....i am unhappy that you are already attend twice in JEE. From official instruction candidate can't appear the Joint Entrance exam twice.
    don't worry.....i have a idea.
    1. If you want to study again for improving your exam result and not doing now. so please go with your old mark set join in Engineering colleges. so many colleges are available in our country through your JEE result.Don't waist your time by study again...you will suffer in future.
    2. you are now studying again in+2 for scoring high. After appearing twice in jee people can't apply again in JEE.They are suffering so many problems at the time of joining.
If you think that i should do it...then no matter, you can apply in other state like West Bengal. In 2009 West Bengal Education Society officially declared that no age limit for Candidate appear the exam.Good luck for better performance .....
    Thank you.

    iit-jee.jpg

    Dear aspirant,

IIT-JEE exam was conducted jointly by IITs earlier for admission to IITs.
In this exam, a candidate could appear only for two times consecutively.

Since, your friend had already appeared for IIT-JEE twice. Then, he/she is not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE exam anymore.
Though, you are again appearing for 10+2 Board Examination, but even then you are not eligible for IIT-JEE exam.

From next year, IIT-JEE will be replaced by ISEET which will have its own eligibility criteria and exam pattern.
You may get chance to appear in this exam.

    hi,
    dear friend,
SORRY!!! you are not eligible for giving IIT exam
because any candidate can give IIT exam twice in two consecutive years , and you already give your two chances , so its better to go for other sectors like banking, go for defence services, merchant navy, any many other courses as well ..

    all the best..................

Re: Is my friend eligible for JEE next year after attempting it twice and appearing for improvement exam?

No,Sir,he is not eligible for IIT-JEE again because he has lost his 2 chances of getting into IIT-
the minimum educational qualification required is
    1) the candidate must have passed the class 12boards exam with minimum of 60% marks in PCM and 60% marks in aggregate in allsubjects.
    2) the maximum number of attempts is 2 times inconsecutive year.in entire life time.

    3) the age limit is 16-18 years.
so sir you can clearly see that he will not satisfy the eligibility criterias.
    hope it answers your question.

Sir,you cant give IIT-JEE ,because the eligibility criterias are-
    1) ) the candidate must have passed the class 12 boards examwith minimum of 60% marks in PCM and 60% marks in aggregate in all subjects.

    2) the candidate who have dateof birth after 1,October 1988 are eligible to apply. for general category andOBC category
    3) the candidate who have date of birth after 1,October 1981 are eligible toapply for ST/SC catrgory students.
    4) the candidate can give IIT-JEE for maximum 2 times in consecutive year in his entire life time.
so,sir, you your friend already has lost all the chances,
so,now its no use to give 12th improvement exam again,it will be year loss and time loss too.

Re: Is my friend eligible for JEE next year after attempting it twice and appearing for improvement exam?

No dear. Its not possible to attempt for JEE more than twice. The new rule for IITJEE states that a candidate can appear for JEE only twice, ehich is the year he/she passes 12th and the successive year. But not after that.
And improvement test is not a matter of concern out here.
But he can definitely apply for AIEEE exam, since CBSE ha snot set any such restrictions for AIEEE exam.
