    hello,

MBA is the best option for the engineering candidates. in INDIA B.Tech+MBA is the highest degree.

in MBA there are different specilizations available like,

    finance,
    marketing,
    human resource,
    systems,
    operations,
    international business,
    hospitality,
    pharma etc...

if you are CSE/IT graduate, then go for systems as a major subject where you can get a good exposure in systems management.
if you are a mechanical graduate, then go for operations as a major subject thus helps you to get immediate job in big manufacturing companies. most of the manufacturing companies are preferring to the candidates who are having btech+mba with operations. so its one good option.

if you good at basics and technical side and problem solving aspects, then go for human resourse...but you need to work hard on your communication skills, soft skills, problem solving skills....

if you are intersted in international business then go for international business.

marketing is also having huge opportunities in the current market.

    best of luck.......

IF YOU WANT TO GO FOR MBA , THEN IT IS GOOD TO CHOOSE MAB IN HUMAN RESOURCE THAN MBA IN I.B.

THIS IS BECAUES , AS YOU ARE FROM B.TECH , YOU WILL HAVE SOME KNLOWLEDGE ABOUT , WHAT THE H.R. WORK IN A COMPANY , WHAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITIES , etc . .

IT IS SOME WHAT EASY TO YOU TO GET UNDERSATND QUICKLY TO THE SUBJECTS IN HR.
THE MAB IN INTERNETIONAL BUSINESS IS ALSO GOOD FOR YOU , BUT WHEN COMPARD TO MAB IN HR , HR IS GOOD
AND MBA IN HR IS OPT TO YOU WELL

IF YOU WANT TO SETTEL IN LIFE QUICKLY , THEN IT IS GOOD TO GO FOR HR.

YOUCAN APPLY FOR BANK MANAGER POSTS ,
IT COMPANIES HR POST , etc . .

LATER , WITH KNOWLEDG IT IS SOMEWAHT EASY FOR YOU TO WRITE I.A.S EXAM
SO, DONT THINK THAT IT IS TOUGH .
YOU NEED TO PREPARE WELL IN ALL THE SUBJECTS AND SYLLABUS FOR THE IAS EXAM
IT IS ALSO GOOD FOR YOU , IF YOU PREPARE WELL ALL THE PREVIOUS QUESTIONS PAPERS.

    ALL THE BEST

Yes of course MBA in international business and human resources is a good option for engineering passed students..
No, IAS is neither tough nor easy for b.tech students.
If you are not confident in your engineering papers then you have an option to choose other subjects for main exam of IAS.

as you are from b.tech , it is very good for you to go for mba in h.r.

this is because , you will fastly settle in your life if you choose mba in h.r. specialisation
international businees is also a good option , but you may not get that much salary as an h.r. in an i.t. company

so, please choose h.r. as your specilaisation

you can also apply for the post of h.r. in government companies also

all you need to do is , you should get a minimum of 60% in mba

later , IAS is not tough
if you prepare well in all the subjects you will definitely pass in the first attempt only

actually , there is a restriction in number of attempts for the exam

    general category = 4 attempts
    obc category = 7 attempts
sc or st category = infinite (those attempts will valid if the your age is below 35 years )

    Hi,
Both are good subject in current market Scenario, you can choice which is your most favorite subject.

Any one can crack IAS you just have to prepare very hard for it as this is the one of the most toughest exam in india because competition is very much in it, The Union Public Service commission conducts a nation wide exam every year to select the best candidates for different cadres of public administration. General Studies has to be prepared on quite a different plane, Traditionally, 10+2 level books of NCERT or any state education board had been covering a major part of the content but, these days, the items in news during the last one year or so, are being asked quite frequently.

    The best of luck

NEITHER OF THE STREAMS ARE EASY

if you don't work hard, you will not get success in any of the fields

    MBA======>>>>>>>>>> Management of Business administration

MBA is a good course for a professional career
you need to appear for exam like CAT,MAT,GMAT etc to get admission to the B.Schools in our country
    some top B.Schools are
    IIMs
    AMITY
    SYMBIOSIS
    ICFAI

after completing your course you will get good job with salary range of 40000-300000 per month based on the company you joined and the B.School from where you graduated
yo will get ample job offers.even from abroad
your salary will be quite good along with other incentives
after a few years of work experience, your demand in the professional arena will increase
so you will get promotion even and hike in pay checks!!!

    ~~IAS=======>>>>>>>> INDIAN administrative service

It is the top class job in INDIA under the Central government
you will get less pay compared to mba professionals
but you will get great status and respect
you will get ample incentives and amenities

    ===Eligibility Criteria===

    ~Academic Qualification
Graduate degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Mathematics, Physics, Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY

~Age=21=30 / number of attempts: 7( for general candidates)

    ~the exam consists of 3 parts :
    1. preliminary exam
    2. mains exam
    3. personal interview

    ~~question pattern~~
    • Data interpretation
    • logical reasoning
    • English
    • analytical problems
    • basic computer knowledge
    • assertion and reason

SO BEING A B.Tech GRADUATE YOU WILL GET SOME BASIC ADVANTAGES
IT IS VERY CLEAR FROM THE QUESTION PATTERN THAT THE PAPER CONSTITUTES OF LOTS OF PROBLEMS
SO YOU WILL GET ADVANTAGE IN THE NUMERICAL, ANALYTICAL PROBLEMS PART...
IF YOU RAE GOOD APTITUDES(USUALLY ENGINEERS ARE GOOD AT IT),....IT WILL BE BE A DOUBLE BENEFIT FOR YOU
YOU NEED TO STUDY GOOD ENGLISH AS THE ENGLISH PAPER IS VERY TOUGH
    PREPARE FOR MOCK INTERVIEW
TRY TO INCREASE YOUR IQ LEVEL AS IT WILL BE TESTED IN THE INTERVIEW

    ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

Re: Is MBA in International Business or Human Resources a good option? Whether IAS is very tough for an average B.Tech student?

Being a B Tech student it is better for you to go for MBA than for IAS. It is also a good option to opt for MBA after B Tech because you can take advantage of the technical background while managing the business Administration. Of course, you have to choose the field from HR and International business in MBA as it depends upon your interest. With technical background it will be advisable for you to select International business than HR as HR deals with with matters related to human resources development only which needs limited technical skill while International business can be improved a lot with the help of technology.

The reason to suggest you to choose MBA than IAS is also due to the fact that you are an average B Tech student as stated by you and it is very difficult for an average student to clear the IAS despite hard work.Out of tens of thousands of aspirants only less than a hundred is selected every year for IAS. But don't give up your mind if you have a deep desire for IAS. Do MBA now and keep on trying while in job after updating yourself for appearing in the IAS preliminaries.

    Best of luck.

Yes IAS is tough but not so much that it could not be cracked by the average students if you are active in your life and on your study then you can easily crack it, only you need to have a clear goal in your life......
As you are a b.tech student then MBA in HR is also a better option for you if you dont want to go for IAS, because if you are doing MBA after b.tech from any reputed university then you can easily and very fastly settle in your life.
So choose the best for you according to your interest...............
