is maths required for MBA?
i want to give upsc exam can i give after 12.....
No, there's nothing to fear about maths. There isn't a lot of mathematics involved in MBA.You need to know the basics of Maths for your first year where you have to study all the subjects. To avoid math you can skip subjects such as finance and statistics that involve a little bit of maths. But then these also don't require the mathematics of high level.Simple understanding ofdigits is enough. The thing that is required is to understand the logic and the concept behind the simplest of the calculations. So there is nothing to bescared of.For any information on MBA institutes and MBA programs, visit: http://admission.mbauniverse.com/

Hello,
maths is not compulsory for bachelor of commerce or to do mba.
Eligibility:
@bca is a graduate course for this course you must completed 12from any stream with60% aggregate.
@mba is an pg programme- for mba you have to qualify entrance exam for mba with 60% in graduation from any stream.
So dont worry about maths
all the best
Dear Friend,
Do not get so much sacred about mathematics. In B.com or BMS basis mathematics is needed in some of its sub topics.
Even you can skip those topics and choose any other topic. In B.Com you may have Accounts which will have numerical problem but for that you just need basis understanding of the subjects.
MBA is Master of Business Administration. It is a post graduate degree which include simple mathematics in sub-topics such as Statistics or Accounts or Economics. But this does not include high grade mathematical knowledge.
Without maths there is only one stream Medical else almost every stream have a little application of mathematics.
Do not get worried. You can easily go for streams like B.com, BBA, BMS and then MBA.
even you can pursue CA or CS course it does not involve high mathematical knowledge.
Hello friends ............
No maths is required for BMS,MBA and B.com.
If you come from any background Then you can do MBA.
Maths Use in MBA for calculation ability purpose.
And you need some basics maths in MBA but not much
In these course contain Statistical maths
So don't worry about that
All the best
Hi,
If you are weak in Maths, then also there is no problem in choosing BMS, MBA or B.com.
All these three courses don’t require advance mathematics, but Statistics and accounts do have some Mathematics but that is like 10^{th} standard maths, so you need not worry about having good mathematics skills.
BMS and MBA are management programmes, while B.Com involves accounts.
So, if you have interest in commerce and accounts, then go for B.Com and later you can do MBA with accounts.
After 12^{th} you can choose either BMS or B.Com.
Friend,
Mathematics in +2 subject is not the eligibility criteria for admission in MBA, but concept
of Maths is required up to certain level, because in the MBA entrance exams, questions are asked
from Quantitative Aptitude.
In MBA exam, maximum questions are up to class 10 level and if you are comfortable till
This level, you won’t have difficulty in clearing the exams.
In BCom course, Maths is not compulsory but in Commerce subjects,
Mathematical calculation is important and you must be comfortable with understanding
of logs, Graphs, Summations and results from tabular data.
These are easy concepts to understand. So you don’t have to worry about your weakness in Maths.
So after paasing +2, you should apply for admission in BCom and you can start the
preparation for MBA after reaching 2nd year.
For preparation, you can join coaching centres which will help you in getting conceptual
understanding of Maths.
Dear for your kind information that the mathematics is not required in the course of B.Com or BBA or MBA but there are some compulsory semesters in which the mathematics would be in syllabus because it is also a particular part of the study and almost there is no course in India which has no mathematics because so many things are there which have to be calculated and without having proficiency and knowledge of this subject how can you do that so dear you should not afraid of mathematics and prepare hard for examination
You can choose BBA if you wants to complete MBA in your further studies and if you want to get admission in B.Com then you should choose MBA in Accountancy or MBA in Banking and Finance
All the best
