    Dear sir/madam,

    My Dear........
Mathematics in 10+2 or in graduation is not required
to be considered eligible for the Chartered Accountancy course, but as far
as Mathematics (Quantitative Aptitude) as one of the subjects in the Common
proficiency Test is concerned, it is importent.

    Hello,
Its not so that you should have maths to become a CA, We take maths in 11th & 12th just to improve our confidence, calculations, analytical and logical thinking, dont worry if you are not having it,
    BUT
In the CPT i'e. first phase of CPT require maths as a subject, you can easily clear it with some practise and coaching, and make some strategies to attempt the paper by scoring minimum in the maths section and more in the other section to be all clear,
Have confidence, Also solve the previous years paper to check wat type of questions usually come...
    I + M + Possible = Impossible

    Hello,
Dont worry, if you are not having Accountancy & Economics,
Science graduates also fight for CA and become rank holders, so yoe have atleast maths, i'e one subject, go for good coaching and give your 200% for the same, you 100% will score good rank, also solve previous years question papers to gain speed and confidence, you will surely succeed..
    Hardwork pays..

    Hello,
I dont know why people have so much fear of maths, in life they have to do calculations only, salary negotiations, expenses handling, profit handling, in common parlance pocket management, all this is part of maths.. As per you, In CA maths is required initially at CPT level, but brothers and sisters of maths will be there till the end, like Direct and Indirect Tax, Financial management, Cost accounting, where calculations are required, So maths as a subject will be their till only CPT, after that not...

    I hope you understand..
    All the best.

    Hello,
You just require a bit of coaching and hardwork with regular practise, you only have to get your concepts clear bcoz CPT is completely objective, But only CPT clearance wont give you CA, after that only actual commitment and regularity and sincerity towards studies are required.. So dont worry for CPT, Give your 100%, you will surely get through...

All the best.. Have confidence on yourself...

    Hello

no , Maths is not a compulsory subject to join CA course.

Only 12th is required to take CPT test .

But you can take the CPT test even after your 10th also.
CPT is designed on the pattern of entry level tests for engineering, medical and other professional courses. The duration of the test is 4 hours comprising of two sessions of 2 hours each with a break in between the sessions. There Is a penalty for negative marks.
    The subjects are Accounting,Law,Quants .

No , Maths is not necessary to become a Chartered Accountant. There is also not restriction on stream to become a Chartered Accountant. So you are eligible to apply CA exams after completing your 12th.
But before that you should know the structure of CA Course.

The Chartered Accountancy course comprises of

After qualifying CPT, you will become eligible for IPCC. And finnaly you are eligible to apply Final Course.

You can get exemption from CPT and can directly apply for IPCC if you have scored 50% or more marks in graduation.

Maths is not essential to enrol for the CA programmee

Chartered Accountancy course has three levels:
    -Common Profiency test-Entry Level
    -Integrated Professional Competence Course
    -Final Course

To take admission in the first stage of CA that is CPT you just need to be 12th class pass
Rs 6700 is the fess for the first stage that is CPT

If you want to enter banking line that make sure you score more than 60% marks in your class 12th so that you can appear in the clerical written exams conducted by IBPS and SBI

    Dear friend,
Maths is not required to become a chartered accountant at all. Students from any stream can learn accountancy.
But CA involves a lot of calculations, which becomes easier if maths is strong. But if you can handle CA without maths, then well and good.
Its not mandatory to learn math to learn CA

    All the best.

Re: Is Maths necessary to become a Chartered Accountant?

Number , Maths is not essential to become Chartered Accountant. There is also maybe not reduction on supply to become Chartered Accountant. So you're suitable to use CA exams following completing your 12th.
But before that you need to know the design of CA Course.

The Chartered Accountancy program comprises of
    Competence Proficiency Test or CPT
Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC and
    Ultimate Course
You are able to apply for CPT following driving 12th board exams. You need to have accomplished 18 years of age to be qualified to receive the course.

Following qualifying CPT, you will become qualified to receive IPCC. And finnaly you're suitable to use Ultimate Course.

You will get exemption from CPT and may immediately apply for IPCC if you have obtained 50% or even more scars in graduation.

But as you are in 12th I'm providing you with information about CPT for which you are eligible.

CPT is done two times per year in the weeks of June and December. It is really a goal designed issue report of 200 scars in which four parts are requested which are as follows :-
    Accountancy
    Genaral Economics
    Mercantile Law
    Quantitative talent
Official site to register classes : http://www.icai.org

Mathematics in the bigger extra stage or in graduation is not needed to be viewed qualified to receive the Chartered Accountancy program, but so far as Mathematics (Quantitative Aptitude) as one of many topics in the Common proficiency Test is concerned, it's mandatory. So, ostensibly, those individuals who have qualified +2 degree of examination are suitable to enroll for the Chartered Accountancy program irrespective of the subject combination and the proportion of scars secured in the qualifying examination. In buy to become Chartered Accountant, you will need to go through the subsequent stages:Common Proficiency TestIntegrated Qualified Competence CourseComputer TrainingFinal CourseArticleship TrainingGeneral Administration courseFor more information, refer to the official site of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mathematics is not compulsory at the mercy of become as Chartered Accountant, but when you can have mathematics subject in 12th then it's very very theraputic for you in further studies in CPT course.

Those people who have removed 12th from any supply are suitable to seem in CA course. It's maybe not compulsory that you must be research supply student or you'll want Mathematics in 12th.

So as to become Chartered Accountant, you will need to go through the subsequent stages:

    Common Proficiency Test
    Integrated Qualified Competence Course
    Pc Education
    Ultimate Course
    Articleship Education
    Common Administration course.
