No,Its not necessary that you should have Maths Subject in your 10+2 Board Examinations then only you can pursue the CA Course,Just you must clearly belong to the Commerce Stream.While,Maths Subjects is present in CPT Examinations so it should be beneficial if you will have Maths Subject in your 10+2 Board Examinations or you might have to work hard in order to get succeeded in Maths Subjects.Since,Everything will be new for you in Maths.

2)all the candidates who studied any group in the inter are allowed to do CA
3)but to do CA you have to write the CPT exam if you qualify in that then you will be allowed to do IPCC that is the next in the CA course
4)but in the CPT exam you will have maths so it is better to take the maths related group so that this will be helpful to your cpt exam
5)if you decide to do CA in future then it is better to take the MEC group in the inter
6)if you take the above group as your group in inter so that you can crack the CPT easily

It is absolutely not compulsory to choose maths in 12th level.
But on the contrary CA is a maths based course...
So in my opinion it would be better to choose maths as a subject.
And for your reference you will have to clear 3 courses if not a graduate and after passing 12th to be a CA

No it is not compulsory to take maths in 10+2 to become eligible for CA course. You can pass with any stream and then apply for CA CPT. You need to score 50% marks in CA CPT to qualify it and then become eligible for admission into CA IPCC.
