    Hello,
You can go for CA or ICWA or CA & ICWA both after B.Com. (Having 50% in it)..
After graduation there is no need to give the first level exam i.e (CPT in CA and Foundation in ICWA)...
Go for the second level directly i.e IPCC in CA and Inter in ICWA..
Then 2.5 years of trainning and then Final Level Exams..

With bit effort and confidence, you will surely succeed...

    All the best

    Hello,
BBA and B.Com are the 3 year degree courses..
CA/ ICWA/CS are the professional exams which can be done with the above degrees, but as per the latest guidelines you can do Private B.Com and regular CA/CS/ICWA.
CA/CS/ICWA can give you direct jobs with good salary, but B.Com would not...
So try to manage your time and do both..

    Education never go wasted..

    Hello,
Both the courses are professional courses which gives you knowledge in their respective fields and can be done together with B.com as well as after B.Com with relaxation of one level..
CA - Charted Accountant from ICAI is a professional course makes you a professional auditor as well income tax manager too, it's a course comprised of CA- IPCC and CA Final after graduation with required training and going to cost you around 30-40 thousand...

ICWA - Indian cost and work accountants, makes you professional in designing cost sheets and budgets for the company etc...
It is also comprised of Two levels with training after B.Com... with less cost then CA..

You have to work hard for both the courses..

Re: Information about CA course and ICWA course after B.com?

It is a good option to go for CA or ICWA course after B Com. Though basic qualification for both these examination is 12 th pass, it is far better to do the course after graduation because after graduation you can join directly into intermediate level by skipping the CPT in CA and foundation course in ICWA. and also that your grasping capacity during training for CA will be better after graduation in commerce. You can choose either CA or ICWA as both are similar in nature and status for job purposes. There is only slight difference in the subjects, as Auditing and Accountancy forms part of both the course.

The CA examination is conducted by the Institution of Chartered Accountants of India and the ICWA is conducted by the Institution of Cost and Work Accountants of India. After successful completion of the course, the aspirants can apply for various positions in management level in Government and public sector undertakings and the positions do carry good salary. The CA and ICWA can also work independently after attaining required experience with professionals in the field. So make up your mind and proceed.

The difficult part is the toughness of the course. It is not an easy one. You should have to work extremly hard to attin the degree.

    • Both the CA course and Icwa course are the professional courses which are conducted by the ICAI and ICoAI respectively.
    • Both the courses have three stages. In CA, the stages are CPT, IPC and CA final . In Cwa the stages are foundation, intermediate and final.
    • After completing the b.com, you can directly join the intermediate stage of CWA.
    • In CA course, you can get direct entrance into IPC stage for which you must score 55% marks in B.com degree.

YES, after completion of your B.COM you can start your ICWA course.
ICWA course is done in three stages-Foundation , Intermediate and Final

After completion of your Graduation you can get direct admission in the Intermediate stage
Fees for this stage is Rs 19700

Below papers has to be studied in ICWAI Intermediate stage
    Paper 1 : Financial Accounting
Paper 2 : Laws, Ethics and Governance
    Paper 3 : Direct Taxation
Paper 4 : Cost Accounting and Financial Management
Paper 5 : Operation Management & Information System
Paper 6: Cost and Management Accountancy
    Paper 7: Indirect Taxation
Paper 8 : Company Accounts and Audit

In the CA course there are 3 stages- CPT, IPCC and Final
If you would have scored more than 55% aggregate marks in B.COM you would have got direct admission to the IPCC stage
But since you have less than 55% marks you have to appear in the CPT exams
