    IBPS ~ Institue of Banking Personnel Selection


    IBPS schedule the exam for Clerk,PO and Specialist officer every year.
    IBPS held exam for 19 public sector banks.


    Minimum qualification to write this exam is 20 to 35 years.
    In Academics candidate should complete their Graduation by recognized university and
    Post Graduate/Diploma recognised by AICTE in Personal Management/HRD/Social work/Labour Law etc.


    Syllabus for HR Specialist Officer exam ~>


    Written exam will be of two hours.Question paper will include 200 questions in it.For every wrong answer you will be panalised with 0.25 negative marks.This exam covers the following topics -->

    * Reasoning which will be of 50 marks
    * English Knowledge which will be of 25 marks
    * Quantitative Aptitude which will be of 50 marks
    * Professional Knowledge which will be of 75 marks

    To solve question of reasoning you need to understand the concept behind each question. Generally question may be asked from coding decoding, sitting arrangement, direction test, syllogism, Number Series,Verbal Classification,Analogies ,Artificial Language,Matching Definitions,Making Judgments,Verbal Reasoning,Logical Problems ,Logical Games,Analyzing Arguments, Statement and Assumption,Course of Action,Statement and Conclusion,Theme Detection,Cause and Effect ,Statement and Argument,Logical Deduction,Letter and Symbol Series,blood relation etc.


    Test of English knowledge-25 marks(50 question)

    The questions in this section may include grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of a passage, Spotting Errors, Sentence Correction, Sentence Completion & One Word Substitution.



    Test of Quantitative Aptitude- 50 marks(50 question)

    Detail Syllabus of HR officer in IBPS:
    Reasoning:-It consists of verbal and non-verbal test comprising blood relation test,number series,problem solving,figure problems,alpha-numeric relation test,syllogism,coded relationships,coded inequalities may be asked in the examination.
    Numerical Abilities:-It cover number system,number series,percentage,profit and loss,simple and compound interest,time and distance,time and work,average,age calculation.
    English Language:-This section cover Passage Test,cloze test,rearrange either the sentences or the words,error detection,idioms and phrases,fill in the blanks,spelling error,one word substitution,phrasal verbs.

    IBPS released the syllabus for IBPS specialist officer recruitment written Exam 2012
    IBPS Specialist officer question paper willl be in 2Languages that is in English & Hindi,Except the only one section of the test of English Language.
    The IBPS specialist officer exam will be conducted on 11th March 2012
    The written exam has 4 Sections for 200Marks total number of Question is 200

    2. Probationary officer - PO's.

    3. Specialist officer.

    The eligibility criteria for the specialist officer is candidate should completed the any degree or graduation of post graduation from recognized university.And secure minimum 60% aggregate in academics.And age limit for specialist officer is 21- 28 years.

    A candidate who have competed their Graduation Degree in any Discipline from Recognized Universities can apply for this Exam. Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 years.....

    Relaxation for OBC 3 years on upper age and for SC/ST 5 years as well as for PH/PWD category it is max. 10 years on upper age provided......


    Exam Scheme:-
