    How to start preparing for IAS exam being BE student?

    i m a student of third year doing B.E and i aspire to become an ias officer..please let me know how do i start my preparations???also i am confused because i wont hav other optios if i dont qualify for ias as m not preparing for mba or mtech..

    IAS stands for Indian administrative Service conduct exam every year.
    For IAS you should be Graduate And Indian also.
    And your age between 21-35 for general only age relaxation for SC/ST caste.

    • IAS referred to Indian administrative services, for that you are required to appear in civil services examination which is conducted by UPSC.
    • You should had the bachelor degree in any stream.
    • Those asking, no minimum percentage required in 10th,12th and graduation.
    • Just an passing marks would be enough for this.
    • But your age must be in between the 21 years to the 30 years.
    • There also given age relaxations.
    • For preparations, you should join the coaching institutes they have the best way of preparation.

    which is known as CSAT

    CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test.

    you must hold a bachelor's degree in any field

    minimum age-21 yrs
    maximum age-30 yrs

    3 yrs for obc
    5 yrs for sc/st
    10 yrs for PH

    Dear Aspirant...

    You want give IAS examination after BE first you complete B.tech than apply IAS examination and

    after complete BE than give IAS exam and after crack exam you get a IAS officer job and its a very

    respectful poat in India and You can make future bright in this job .You can prepare well in this IAS

    exam and than get a job in IAS .You must be prepare side by side because IAS examination is

    a toughest exam is india and You can prepare very well and must be read current affairs ,general

    knowledge book.You can give this examination 4 times and some relaxation are provide reserved

    category.You must be Indian Citizenship.Your age limit should be 21 to 30 years.some relaxation

    Friend,

    IAS exam is considered to be the toughest competitive exam in India but it gives you the most Royal job as well.
    To get success, you must start with a positive attitude and determination.

    To start the preparation, you should go through the syllabus and pattern of exam.

    The exam consists of 2300 marks and is conducted in 3 stages:

    - Prelims: It first consists of 2 papers of 300 marks each which is a qualifying round and marks in this round is
    not counted in final scoresheet of selection. These 2 papers are language papers and you need to select any 1 language
    in Paper 1 and English will be default language for Paper2.

    After qualifying in this round, your real exam of Preliminary Round will start.
    Next papers will be to write Essay which will be of 200 marks and then 2 papers of General Studies of 300 marks each.

    After qualifying in the preliminary roundm you'll be selected for the Mains round.

    - Mains: You need to select any 2 subject out of 18 given options and 2 papers on each subject will be asked and each paper
    will be of 300 marks. Total 1200 marks in this Mains round.

    - Interview: After you get through Mains round, you need to face and qualify Interview round which is of 300 marks.
    Selection is done on your cumulative score in 3 rounds(Prelims+Mains+Interview.)

    As you have moved into 3rd year, analyze the pattern of exam, consult with any of your seniors and refer the magazines to read interviews
    of successful IAS officers to know their preparation strategy which will help you a lot.
