How to prepare for IITs? Portion of 11th syllabus and books to understand the problem solving concept?

I have just passed my 11th. I was not that much serious in class 11th so I got the last batch in my coaching classes . But now I have realised what I have lost and am serious now. I want to get a decent rank in iit jee in 2013 or its substitute Iseet. I have to go to school for 5-6 days and for coaching 3-4 days a week. Give me tips how to start and manage time and which books should I go for understanding concepts and solving problems . And how to study the portion of class 11th. And what should be the manner of study so that 12th boards are not neglected.I have just passed my 11th. I was not that much serious in class 11th so I got the last batch in my coaching classes .
