    How to prepare for CPO exam? Name of good books, syllabus, model question and guidelines for the same?

    dear sir i want to appear the cpo exam 2012. So sir please give some guidelines how to prepare and which book i have to read for this exam syllabus.also i want model question of this exam.i am serious about this exam so sir please give me guidelines and tell me the name of book which is good for this exam.i don,t have any idea about this exam but i will try hard to pass the exam cause i want to become a sub inspector in central para military. So sir please me give some guideline about this exam

    Model paper is attached inthe following attachments.

    the written exam consists of two parts.
    part-I 200 marks
    part -II 200 marks.


    part-I

    1)general intelligence and reasoning(50 Qs,50marks)
    2)general knowledge and general awareness(50 Qs,50marks)
    3)numerical aptitude(50 Qs,50marks)

    part-II

    english language & comprehension(200 Qs, 200 marks)

    <> I will give you the right information about the CPO exam.

    ^ First of all you have to prepare for the previous year question paper.

    ^ In the CPO written exam there are mainly two parts.

    ^ In the part I :

    ^ The total 200 marks question to be asked in the exam.

    ^ You have to prepare for the 200 marks question as well as possible.

    ^ In the Part I The General Intelligence questions are consist.

    ^ The reasoning question are consist in the Part I also.

    ^ Ther are total 50 marks for the General Intelligence and the Reasoning questions,

    ^ 50 marks : For the General Knowledge and General Awareness : Total 50 Question.

    ^ 50 Marks : For the Numerical Aptitude : 50 Quaetion.


    ^ The secound part II :

    In the part II the total 200 marks question also consist.

    You can also prepare for the exam by study the previous year question paper.

    ^ In the Part II There are the following questions :

    ^ English language : & Comprehension : Total 200 Question : 200 marks.

    sir i m naresh kumar. right now i m pursuing bba from dr. B.R. Ambedkar uni. so i want to be a police officer and want to crack the cpo exam. so pls.... tell me syllabus in detail of all subjects...... and a right way to crack the cpo exam...............

    CPO means Central Police Organization:

    1. BSF.

    2. CISF.

    3. CRPF.

    4. ITBP.

    5. SSB.

    6. NCB.


    - SSC holds this exam every year for recruiting Sub-Inspectors in CPO.

    - The scheme of recruitment is given below:

    1. Paper-I: multiple choice 200 questions/marks:

    i. General awareness.

    ii. General Intelligence.

    iii. Quantitative aptitude.

    iv. English.

    2. Paper-II: multiple choice 200 questions/marks.

    i. Questions on English comprehension.

    3. Physical test and Medical Test.

    4. Personal Interview.

    Recomanded books:

    1. Arihant publication.

    2. Lucent guide.

    3. Kiran prakashan.

    4. Wren and Martin.

    5. R. S. Agarwal.
