    Re: How to prepare for AIEEE entrance exam?

    Hi friend,

    First of all AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Exam.

    Now I'll tell you some things to prepare for this exam, as follows :

    - First of all wake up early in the morning and do exercises and yogasana's to get freshed.
    - Now the online services are improved a lot and there are many free online tests available; one can use those services in their leisure time to enhance their knowledge; but finding the best sites, which one could trust is really significant!
    - Working out on time is a very important concept; it would be really appropriate to allot time to each question, while preparing for the exam. Try to get solved, half an hour before the actual timings; i.e. while practicing the sample question papers, try to complete within two and a half hours; hence the remaining half an hour would be ample enough for revising and verifying the answers.
    - If you are stuck up with a question, then leave the question and move on to the next one. But later, make sure that you are giving attempt to all the left out questions.
    - Try practicing the sample questions in the same format of the original question paper, i.e. the shading part of the question paper, etc. this could be done only through imagination, but practicing such small things would ease the exam pressure and it would also make you familiar to such practices; when one’s mind is familiar to some things, or concepts, then it is likely to make one comfortable to the same.
    - Try concentrating on the logics of concepts, rather memorizing the formulas and procedures. Develop your own methodologies to solve a problem; this imparts confidence at the first place.
    - Also it is advisable to undergo group discussion with friends and classmates, as such ways will expose you to the other’s alternative methodologies to solve the paper. But try to collaborate with friends, matching up with your frequency; the ultimate objective of such methods is to boost our confidence and energy and not otherwise!
    - Concentrate on your speed of solving the problems. Analyze the different categories of possible questions and plan a suitable strategy to solve each one of them.
    - Prepare yourself without stress and strain; developing such attitude would fetch you good results, as sound mind could think energetically!
    - The ‘out of box thinking’ helps in segmenting the entire preparation process; it also improves the focus of concentration, but not every person does this! When two or more persons bear the same cut-off marks in AIEEE, then the inter-se merit of the students would be determined by the AIEEE by comparing the student’s AIEEE mathematics marks first and followed by their physics marks and their ages; in case of engineering admissions and in case of architectural and planning admissions, it compares the student’s AIEEE aptitude marks first and followed by the mathematics marks and their ages.

    Hence, being aware of such procedures and practicing accordingly would fetch more marks than the competitors.

    Thats all you need to do and prepare for AIEEE and get good marks.

    All the best..!!

    Regards.

    Re: How to prepare for AIEEE entrance exam?

    HI FRIEND,

    AIEEE Preparation:-

    The AIEEE consists of two papers;

    1.First paper comprising objective type questions from subjects like, mathematics, physics and chemistry;

    2.Second paper consisting of objective type questions from mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test. The first paper is meant for getting the B.E. / B.Tech admissions and the second paper is for B.Arch. / B.Planning. Some of the important aspects of preparing for the exam involve the following points: Now the online services are improved a lot and there are many free online tests available; one can use those services in their leisure time to enhance their knowledge; but finding the best sites, which one could trust is really significant! Engineering Entrance Exam Preparation
    It is not easy to crack engineering entrance exam like AIEEE if you want to score high marks but it can be possible if you are putting your efforts in right direction. For any engineering entrance exam, it is very much required to do proper planning especially on those areas in which you are little weak. Practice is the Key to become perfect in any field. Few things which will help you in your preparation are -

    1. Solve previous year sample papers.
    2. Planning
    3. Proper Guidance
    4. Positive Altitude
    5. Monitoring your performance in term of speed and efficiency

    and lots more but you should also know about the time in which you can complete your entrance exam preparation includes 1 time revision

    Procedure for applying online for AIEEE 2011
    Below are the directives from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
    1. A maximum of 1.0 lac candidates will take online exam in BE/B.Tech only and candidates for remaining subjects will appear in Pen & paper mode
    2. The candidates intending to appear in online examination should apply online on
    AIEEE website.
    3. Fees is required to be paid by credit/debit card or Demand Draft only
    4. Online examination will be conducted for a maximum capacity of 5000 candidates in a city on first-come-first serve basis
    5. The candidates may opt another city if the seats in a particular city are full
    6. Board reserves the right to change the choice of examination center of candidates in case centers are full
    7. The examination fee for the candidates who intend to appear in online examination is as under.
    • • General /OBC RS. 400 + 2% of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable.
    • • SC/ST RS. 200 + 2% of the examination fee plus service tax as applicable
    Follow the below 3 simple steps to apply online
    1.
    Fill the online application form
    2.
    Make the payment online
    3.
    Get a printout of Confirmation Page and send to AIEEE

    Tips;

    1. 1.If you are preparing for AIEEE, then you must understand that the level of difficulty in these papers is much less as compared to that in IITJEE. The first thing one must do is attempt/try solving as many previous year papers as you can get a hold of. QUESTIONS IN THESE PAPERS ARE OFTEN REPEATED (if not the exact same question, then similar questions can definitely come). Why loose marks in questions which have already appeared in earlier tests?
    2. Lots of questions in these papers are formula based (unlike IITJEE). So make sure you remember all PCM formulae and have thorough knowledge of how and when to apply which.
    3. These tests are primarily speed tests. The hardly test your mental ability or conceptual understanding. They test how quickly you can answer simple, straight forward questions. So if you are naturally slow in solving problems, you are in for trouble. Remember that people, who top these tests, finish the entire test. People who are just able to make it, attempt at least 80% of the test. But knowing this, if you now try to hurry up and try to attempt all questions (without making sure if the choice you entered was correct or not), then you might loose marks in negative marking. So try to be fast; give lots of model tests at home; see your score for yourself at the end of the test; observe your improvement.

    Re: How to prepare for AIEEE entrance exam?

    Dear AIEEE is a national level competitive exams for those who wants to get admission in various IITs of India and make their career in engineering stream so this would be a better way that you join any good coaching institute because coaching institutes provides very good and required facilities to all candidates and you will find out very good and adjustable environment in the coaching institute so you could prepare well with the help of colleagues and share your preparation thoughts with them so this may be a very good way and you do not need to go anywhere to collect books and notes for examination because coaching institutes will support you at every stage and you will get complete notes to prepare for examination and test series of the coaching will help you in checking your level of study so I would say that do not waste your time and prepare well

    As you are not class 11th so You may start preparation on your own by using some good books available in market and when you come in 12th class then you should get coaching for AIEEE and when you start preparation then take opinion of other students and teachers to prepare for AIEEE and good coaching institute in your area so you get everything well and prepare easily for examination

    Set your time right now and try to give at least 3 hours everyday only for preparation and other time for study

    All the best
