Re: How can I prepare for IFS exam?

Dear it's good to see your interest in becoming IFoS Officer in India that stands for Indian Forest Service

This examination is conducted by UPSC board once a year where you will face three following stages in the selection procedure :

Preliminary Examination - Two papers of objective type pattern and each contains 200 marks

Mains examination - 6 papers in conventional type pattern and qualifying in each is mandatory

Interview Process : Only after being qualified in both prelims and mains examination

So you have to prepare well for every single stage because passing in preliminary examination is mandatory and if you will not pass then you will not be allowed to appear for mains examination so work hard first for prelims examination

First of all you should find out any good coaching institute to prepare for this examination because there are so many advantages of coaching institutes that are following :

Completely checked study material by experienced teachers
Complete support in preparation as strategy and time management tricks in examination
Full guidance and teaching by experienced teachers
Practice test series and online test series according to the new examination pattern
Study according to new examination syllabus and pattern
Monthly magazines and year books related to examination
Daily, Weekly, Monthly test for your learning to check level of study
Different books and notes to learn more about the subjects asked in examination
A very good and competitive environment in the coaching institute for study
Help, Support and sharing of study materials and thoughts among students and circles
Motivation and full encouragement for study and help every time

So you need to think about the importance of coaching institutes and basically institutes gives you about 8 hours everyday for study so you should also give at least 6 hours for revision everyday at your home then you may see your proficiency for examination and try to avoid working or study for any other examination and focus only on this exam so you may easily achieve your target and you may prefer - Evolution Academy for IFoS in Delhi for better learning and below I have attached official recruitment notification for this examination so please download and get more details about this exam
