    How can I prepare for IAS exam? How many optional subjects are there in IAS exam?

    i m a B.A student.want to be an IAS officer.
    want to know ways how to nourish myself & can get prepared for exam
    & also want to ask how many optional subjects we have to opt for IAS exam???????

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.


    This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission under the Civil Service Examination every year.......




    Eligibility and Criteria:-


    At least Bachelor Degree in any Discipline From Recognized University...

    Final year Candidate may also eligible...

    There is no any percentage criteria...

    A candidate must have Nationality of India....

    Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 years.relaxation for OBC provided +3 years.for SC/ST provided +5 years...

    A candidate can apply maximum 4 attempts for General Candidate.for OBC it is Maximum 7 times.for SC/ST there is No Limit....

    Animal Husbandry and Vetinary science

    Anthropology

    Botany

    Chemistry

    Civil engineering

    Commerce and accountancy

    Economics

    Electrical engineering

    Literature of any one of the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and English....
